Kyosho MP10 1.5mm wire big bore shock springs

Coming from Kyosho are new big bore shock springs for their Inferno MP10 buggy. Made of thicker 1.5mm wire the springs are meant to be more durable than the standard 1.4mm items, allowing for greater durability and thus suspension precision in the long run. The 70mm long front springs are available as blue 7-1.5 hard, red 7.5-1.5 medium and light purple 8-1.5 soft springs while the 81mm rear springs come as blue 8-1.5 hard, red 8.5-1.5 medium and light purple 9-1.5 soft variants.

Xray T4 orange composite spur gears

Xray have announced the release of their new orange colour 48 pitch and 64 pitch spur gears for their T4 range of touring cars. Moulded from a special hard composite material the strategically lightened gears are of a very low weight without compromising strength or durability. The gears are available as 84T 48 pitch or 96T, 100T and 110T 64 pitch variant.

Muchmore Fleta ZX V2 ER Spec torque up motor

Muchmore have announced the release of their new Fleta TX V2 ER Spec torque up stock motors. They build on the popular ER Spec motors but come equipped with the MR-FZR21Z 12.5×7.25×24.2mm “Z” rotor for increased torque which comes in handy especially in 1/10th buggy blinky classes. The motor is available in a 13.5T and 17.5T variant for the most popular stock classes.

Arrowmax tyre & battery warmer

Coming from Arrowmax is a compact tyre and battery warmer. The device utilises a compact control unit for easy storage and less pit space needed with the warmer cups being of Arrowmax’s signature black and golden design. They connect to the front side of the case, ensuring easy organisation of the wires. The control unit is equipped with an XT60 connector, allowing to power the tyre warmer using a 13.8V power supply or a 3S LiPo battery. Built-in sensors ensure precise temperature control, independently for the front and rear tyres, and the warmer not only is usable as a tyre warmer but also as a battery warmer using an optional warming bag. Michael Derderian wins at French 200mm Nats Rd3

Round 3 of the French 1/10th 200mm Nationals was held at the Bonneville track last weekend. Michael Derderian would take the win in the main final after a nice battle with Brice Turco, the latter having to settle for 3rd overall in the end. Kevin Rasquin would end the A-main on the runner-up spot.

V.d. Akker & Janssen win at Dutch Nationals Rd3

Last weekend the third round of the Dutch Electric On-road Nationals was held at the MRC Genk track. For most drivers it was the maiden race at this track as the nationals never visited the track before. Round 3 saw the running of the Touring Modified, Touring Stock and the growing FWD class and in Modified it was the expected battle between the current number 1 and 2, Sidney Blokker and Rick v.d. Akker. As the grip conditions were constantly changing it became very difficult to drive constant lap times. With two of the three rounds to count it came down to the third round of qualifying as both Sidney and Rick had a 1st and 2nd place after twi rounds. The TQ position ultimately went to Sidney with a 1-second margin in the last round.

Zero Tribe BD9 mid motor conversion – Teaser

Japanese brand Zero Tribe, known for their front and mid motor conversions for the Xray T4 touring car, are currently developing a mid motor conversion kit for the Yokomo BD9 tourer. In the very early stages of design, the release of the actual kit may take some time but it is nice to see the proactive brand caring for the needs of Yokomo users.
