Reflex Racing RX4-16 chassis & T4 shock towers

Reflex Racing RX4-16 chassis & T4 shock towers

Coming from Reflex Racing and made for the Xray T4 touring car are the RX4-16 quasi carbon fibre chassis and 4mm carbon fibre shock towers. Starting with the chassis plate, the RSD RX4-16 was developed for the Xray T4 and it is made from RSD’s own quasi isotropic 2.0mm carbon fibre for more rigidity, translating into increased response, grip and a lower centre of gravity over the stock unit. The shape profiles for the chassis have been developed over the past year with a focus to provide a more consistent car feel and less tyre overheating over a run. The design moves the flex to the bulkhead areas which results in a car that rotates faster and harder all while maintaining a higher level of grip. Additionally the chassis has been made completely symmetrical so that the left to right flex of the car can be equalised as much as possible.

Olly Jefferies & Zak Finlay win at BRCA Touring Nats Rd3

The fast open layout of the Halifax track hosted round three of this season’s BRCA Touring Car national series and after three rounds the Modified class has now seen three different winners. This weekend it was Xray’s Olly Jefferies who took the spoils taking TQ and the overall victory in tricky constantly changing weather conditions. Right up to the last final drivers had to be on their toes, two minutes in to the last Modified A-final the rain came and with all drivers on slicks it was one of the slowest finals held at Halifax for a long time, but Jefferies kept it on the tarmac to take the win over the Team Associated of Chris Grainger and Schumacher’s Elliott Harper, with each of these drivers taking a round win so far the series now really opens up with two rounds still to go.
