Jerome Sartel doubles at French 1/8th EP off-road champs

The second round of the French 1/8th Electric Off-road Championship was held in Noeux-les-Mines, France over the weekend. Jean-Pierrick Sartel would take an undefeated TQ in the E-Buggy class in front of Jerome Sartel and Stephane Deroch. After the four A-mains, of which three would count towards the overall, it was Jerome Sartel with the most consistent results to grab the overall win from Vincent Martens 2nd and Cyril Baldini 3rd. Jean-Pierrick Sartel suffered from two bad results and only achieved the 6th place overall.

Schneider & Becker win at Longfield Triple Days Rd3

Round 3 of the Longfield Triple Days series was held in Langenfeld recently with over 90 entries for the several electric off-road classes. The schedule saw controlled practice on Saturday followed by the opening qualifier with the final two being held on Sunday. The 4WD Buggy class was won by Marcel Schneider who was fighting with Jens Becker for the overall. Marcel however win A2 and A3 for the overall from Jens in 2nd. Thorsten Schmitz came in 3rd to round out the podium.

USVTA Triple Crown Rd2 – Report

Round two of the USVTA Triple Crown came to Finish Line Raceway and Hobby Shop in Hudson, Indiana. Racers traveled from around the nation to gather valuable points for this years inaugural USVTA Triple Crown. This second race saw 44 entries with 36 of them in the Triple Crown Classes of USGT, Formula, and VTA. In USGT qualifying, Awesomatix driver Clayton Young would take TQ in round 1 and reset it each run there after with Steve Martin (Xray) in 2nd and Myron Kinnard (Team Associated) 3rd. In Formila it was John Barron dominating qualifying in his Xray over Jeffery Hendrix (Team Associated) in 2nd and Young (Roche) 3rd. VTA would see Young lead an Awesomatix sweep of the top three with Scott Windsor 2nd and Mark Miller 3rd.

Boots & Martin win at BRCA 1/10th Off-road Nats Rd1

The opening round of the BRCA 1/10th Off-road Nationals was held at the Robin Hood Raceway this past weekend. SWorkz’s Elliott Boots took the win for his new 2019 chassis sponsor while Yokomo’s Lee Martin and Team Associated’s Neil Cragg had to settle for 2nd and 3rd respectively. Over in the 2WD Buggy class it was Yokomo’s Lee Martin with the win from TQ holder, Neil Cragg (Team Associated). Yokomo’s Tom Cockerill rounded out the top 3 podium result.

Rebellion-RC X1 offset lower front arms

Coming from RC-Carbonstore’s Rebellion-RC brand are new lower Xray X1 front arms in a variety of off-sets. The redesigned arms have the unused wide track width holes removed with an optimised shape ensuring higher stability. The arms are available in +0, +2, +3, +4, +5, +6, +8, and+10mm specification with the actual setting engraved for easy identification. As with all Rebellion-RC parts the arms feature chamfered 0.2 x 45 degrees edges on the lower side and they are available in twelve different carbon weave colours.

Yannic Prümper teams up with Maclan Racing

Maclan Racing have announced the signing of German electric on-road frontrunner, Yannic Prümper to their team. The former Worlds A-finalist and multiple ETS race winner joined Maclan Racing’s factory team over last weekend’s Spanish ETS round and he will be using the company’s power systems in his upcoming campaign. The Infinity driver has the following to say about the deal:

First I would like to thank Willie Chung and Max Sonnleitner to be part of the Maclan company. Already at the first test, I really felt that the Maclan Power System suits perfectly to me. I‘m looking forward to present the system in the future on national and international races.

Arrowmax pit lamp & setup system tray

Coming from Arrowmax is their updated LED pit lamp and a new setup system tray. The lamp sports Arrowmax’s signature black and golden look and it is equipped with 32 high-powered LEDs that offer three colour temperatures and 6-step brightness adjustment. The lamp is 270 degrees rotatable and powered by either a 12V power supply or 2S to 3S LiPo battery packs. The lamp attaches to Arrowmax’s all-new aluminium setup system tray that was designed to hold 1/12th to 1/8th Arrowmax setup systems as well as setup wheels and many more. Like the lamp the tray comes in the company’s signature black and golden design and it is available including the above pit lamp or separately.
