HB Racing D8 series front 2-dot B mount

Coming from HB Racing and made for their 1/8th scale D8 series buggy and truggy platforms is a new 2-dot B front suspension mount. This new B (+0.7mm) front suspension hanger is a middle setting between the 1-dot and 3-dot mounts. It was developed based on feedback from HB Racing’s team drivers as a good all-around setup. The B mount allows racers to fine-tune the front kick-up and roll centre as it controls the location of the rearmost end of the front suspension hinge pins. A higher B mount location makes the car smoother and easier to drive when the grip is high. The mount comes machined from aluminium and is anodised in black for wear and looks.

Exotek Racing WR8 Flux speed chassis conversion

Exotek Racing have announced the release of a high speed carbon fibre chassis conversion set for the HPI WR8 Flux Gymkhana 1/8 4WD rally car. The extra light weight conversion that removes all of the unneeded parts and hardware that transforms the WR8 into a super streamlined and race worthy performance chassis, scrubbing about 220g of weight compared to the stock set up. The rigid but very light weight carbon fibre chassis is mated to a reinforced alloy nose plate for durability and the optimised weight balance via extra mounting holes allows the motor and battery to be mounted at the rear of the chassis for improved rear traction and jumping balance. Alloy battery cups are multi-positioned to allow front or rear and left or right weight balance which is great for 2S or 3sS battery positioning using hard case batteries. Finally, the chassis is topped off with an alloy centre chassis brace and alloy servo mounts to also improve on lowering the overall centre of gravity.
