DE Racing SpeedLine Plus SC wheels

DE Racing SpeedLine Plus SC wheels

New from DE Racing come their SpeedLine Plus wheels for 1/10th short course trucks. The wheels promise maximum corner control and stability by utilizing DE Racing’s “Sure Lock” foam retention system. This system, comprising of radial ribs that lock the wheel and foam insert together, retains maximum tyre traction to the racing surface while eliminating the vague inconsistencies that come from an insert that is free to move around on its wheel. The rims, that also incorporate a glue channel for clean tyre install, fit most 2.2″/3.0″ short course tyres and they come in yellow, black or white colour.

JConcepts LiL Chasers 1/10th SC tyre

JConcepts LiL Chasers 1/10th SC tyre

JConcepts’ new LiL Chasers for 1/10th short course trucks rely on a tread scaled down from the original Chasers. Small, rectangular lugs which are angular in multiple directions give the SCT tyre the ultimate bite for outdoor racing. The tyres have a lower, closer lug arrangement which gives responsiveness and bites in medium, high and low grip conditions. The wet and dry condition tyre has small recessed cuts in the top of the tread for extra edges and increased formability over terrain. The centre overlapping bar treatment increases durability in the highest wear region of the tyre. The super soft green compound will allow the tyre to grip in the most demanding conditions while offering great durability. The tyres include the Dirt-Tech insert and they come as tyre including insert or pre-mounted on SCTE-compatible 12mm hex Hazard wheels.

Schumacher Cat K1 Aero forward motor conversion

Schumacher Cat K1 Aero forward motor conversion

Schumacher introduce a forward motor conversion for the CAT K1 Aero 4WD buggy. It is to be used on very high-traction surfaces such as high-bite astro and carpet to improve the cars response and laptimes. The conversion shifts the motor 18mm further forward, this allows the use of shorty batteries as well as standard saddle packs and it enables the electronics to be in a much neater and tighter cluster, giving better chassis balance. The steering mounting system has changed with the steering now mounted from the new thicker 3mm top deck. This also incorporates new camber link positions, which also can improve the car on high grip surfaces. With the steering mounted off the now 2.5mm chassis it allows room for the use of a fan to cool the motor in high load conditions.
