Exotek Exo-Six aluminium main chassis plate

Coming from Exotek and made for the Exo-Six conversion kit is a new aluminium main chassis plate. Cut from 7075 material and coming black anodised and laser-etched the highly machined part is of a complex design to retain stiffer chassis flex traits than the carbon fibre chassis while being 23g heavier to insure the lowest possible centre of gravity for carpet racing. Despite being stiffer the chassis is also good for the use on asphalt.

Serpent S100-LTR 200mm pan car kit

Serpent S100-LTR 200mm pan car kit

Serpent have introduced the latest version of their S100 200mm pan car, the S100-LTR. The kit is based on an updated, wider chassis that allows for multiple battery positions. Cut from 2.5mm carbon fibre the chassis is topped off by a small and lightweight T-brace that acts as the battery and centre shock mount while newly designed battery locators keep the battery pack in place. Also new with the LTR are updated steering knuckles with inserts that allow for king pin angle changes while the new single bellcrank steering system with in-line servo positions takes care of the steering duties. Beside the bellcrank steering also a standard “direct” servo mount position is possible. Another new feature up front are redesigned upper arms that do away with the previous horizontally mounted upper pivot ball in favour of a more traditional vertical setup. Other new parts include a friction-free central pivot ball system for the rear power pod, a redesigned rear pod plate and lighter aluminium rear brackets. The kit is rounded out by Serpent’s RCCX pan car shock absorber and available now.
