Brilliant RC INS box & air filter

Brilliant RC have introduced the EFRA and IFMAR homologated Brilliant INS box for 3.5cc and 2.11cc nitro on-road engines. The INS box combined with the included air filter ensures a perfect airflow while the specially developed foam element in combination with a high-quality air filter oil offers exceptional protection against dust, dirt and moisture. With a diameter of 50mm, a height of 41mm and a weight of just 19 grams the low-profile INS box reduces the air drag on 1/8th scale cars and fits easy below most commonly used 1/10 touring car bodies. The filters are also available separately for spares.

Vaterra 2015 K&N Ford Mustang GT RTR

Building on the same chassis as the just announced Chevy C10 is Vaterra’s K&N branded 2015 Ford Mustang GT. The 4WD drift car makes use of a shaft-driven tub chassis with sealed differentials that is equipped with low-profile drift tyres on licensed Volk CE28N wheels. Brake and calliper details on the hub add to the realism that is further underlined by the detailed body that comes with the same trim scheme as the full-scale K&N Mustang GT. It includes extra scale touches like sideview mirrors, chrome exhaust tips and a realistic looking rear wing. Part of the RTR package are also a 15T brushed motor, waterproof electronics and a 2.4GHz radio system along a NiMH battery pack and AC wallcharger.

Horizon Hobby have introduced the Vaterra 1972 Chevy C10 pickup truck on the proven V100-S 4WD chassis. Shaft-driven and with sealed differentials the dropped ’72 C10 comes factory assembled and ready-to-run, equipped wish a Dynamite 15 turn brushed motor and waterproof electronics. Included is also a Dynamite 6-cell NiMH battery and a suitable wall charger as well as a 2.4GHz radio system with batteries.

Yeah Racing M-Chassis aluminium setup wheels

Coming from Yeah Racing are dedicated aluminium setup wheels for Tamiya’s M-Chassis and other compact-size 1/10th cars. The smaller diameter compared to standard 1/10th scale setup wheels makes for the most accurate suspension geometry adjustments. The wheels are cut from high-quality aluminium, they feature rubber O-rings to reduce slipping and sliding on the setup board and also included come thumb nuts for easy and convenient fastening without scratching the wheel’s surface.

GRP 1/5th scale bike tyres

GRP have added new 1/5th scale on-road bike tyres to their 2016 line-up. Both the pre-mounted front and rear wheels are available in the new M5 soft and M3 super soft compound as well as the R2 light rain/humid compound. The rear tyres are of a new shape for improved traction and side bite and all tyres are available pre-glued on a full rim or as open rim type.

Included are high-quality metal gears, lightweight 7075 aluminium crosspins with hardened surface and a set of shims. Scotty Gray joins Serpent America

Serpent have announced the signing of US top driver Scotty Gray to join the on-road team of Serpent America. Scotty will work closely together with Paolo Morganti and the team at Serpent America, focussing on 1/10th electric and nitro classes, as well as GT and 1/8th nitro on-road. Scotty says:

Flavio Elias returns to Capricorn

Flavio Elias returns to Capricorn

Capricorn have announced the return of Brazil’s Flavio Elias to their factory team. The multi-time Brazilian National and South American champion was with Shepherd for the 2015 season and he now inked a 2-year deal with the Italian manufacturer whom he was with before. Flavio has the following to say:

I will run the Lab C802 for the next 2 years and I would like to thank Patrizio for this opportunity. I am very excited for the incoming season.
