Xray XB4 graphite chassis braces

Xray XB4 graphite chassis braces

Xray have introduced two new graphite chassis brace sets for the XB4 off-road buggy. Available for shorty and saddle pack battery configurations the sets allow to run the buggy without the upper deck for a wider range of chassis flex settings. The graphite parts are designed to attach to the lower composite chassis braces and by using more or less mounting screws the flex characteristics can be further fine-tuned. Both the shorty and saddle pack configuration sets are available separately and they include all needed mounting hardware.

Boots doubles at BRCA Truggy & E-Buggy National

Boots doubles at BRCA Truggy & E-Buggy National

This past weekend the BRCA Truggy and E-Buggy National was held at the new Wakefield track. The team had managed to turn at track from flat to a raceable venue in only 8 weeks with a tiny team of workers. With the track being very loose it was a different experience for the drivers and Elliott Boots was able to make the best of it by coming out fastest in the opening Truggy qualifier. The two other runs weren’t so great for Elliott, breaking the car in round 2 and being stuck in traffic in round 3 and this handed the Jack Embling the pole position for the finals which was further helped by some computer issues. At the start of the 30 minute Jack made a small error over the first jump section allowing Elliott to slip through. From that moment on the Boots controlled the remainder of the final and he was able to finish the main one lap ahead of the 2nd place driver.

MIP T5M & SC5M Bypass1 Team Tuned shock piston kit

MIP T5M & SC5M Bypass1 Team Tuned shock piston kit

MIP’s Bypass1 Team Tuned shock piston kits are now also available for the Team Associated T5M race and SC5M stadium truck. The design of the shock pistons allows to adjust the compression and rebound separately thanks to a system that used different valves to control the shock piston’s movement. Using the system not only makes for a more planted ride, it also allows to push the vehicle harder while making it easier to drive at the same time. Included with the Team Tuned kit come T5M and SC5M compatible pistons and “fast” green, “medium” blue and “medium-slow” matte valves.
