Martin maintains pace to top seeding practice

Martin maintains pace to top seeding practice

Lee Martin maintained his early pace at the Euro Offroad Series in Berlin, with the Yokomo driver topping both rounds of timed practice to become the top seed for 2WD qualifying tomorrow as drivers now switch over to 4WD practice.  Behind the British driver, it was David Ronnefalk who was second fastest with Robert Batlle, also driving a Team C TM2, completing the Top 3. While up front the order had no surprises it was the lack of pace from both Hupo Honigl and Joern Neumann that was the biggest surprise with their fastest 3-consecutive laps only good enough for 13th and 16th fastest times respectively.

Exotek DEX210 motor plate & DETC410 diff cams

Exotek DEX210 motor plate & DETC410 diff cams

New from Exotek come two aluminium option parts for the Team Durango DEX410 and DETC410 kits. First up is the Flite vented motor plate for Team Durango’s 2WD buggy. The 100 percent CNC-machined vented motor plate keeps the motor running cooler and longer for that extra edge. Aggressive cut-outs allow the heat that builds up inside the gear cover to vent out thus lowering overall motor temps greatly. The extra machining reduces the weight down to 16g, making the plate over 5g lighter than stock, but the critical motor mounting areas are still intact to maintain solid motor mounting and gear mesh. The plate is available in gold or black anodising and it easily mounts as MM3 or MM4 configuration with the Exotek logos laser etched on both sides of the plate.

Xray XB4 12 degree aluminium C-hubs

Xray XB4 12 degree aluminium C-hubs

Xray introduce 12 degree aluminium C-hubs for the XB4 line of off-road buggies. The parts are machined from high-quality 7075 alloy material, they come black anodised and laser-etched for easy identification. The pre-set 12 degree castor setting is ideal for high traction conditions, it increases corner exit steering while the aluminium material makes for less flex and added overall rigidity.
