Juho Levanen & Euro RC join forces for 2015

Multiple European champion and vice World champion Juho Levanen has joined forces with Euro RC, the Team Associated factory driver will represent the Finnish online shop at all racing events for 2015. Juho said “I am very excited to team up with EuroRC. Having a large webshop back me up helps me especially with all the odds and ends and small parts that a racer needs. EuroRC has an excellent range of competitive products and I can always find what I need at their warehouse. We have been doing co-operation for many years but now is a good time to make it official. Its an honor to be their first international driver and it will be interesting to see who they pickup next.”

TKO B5 & Pan car diff rings

TKO have introduced their new flat & finished diff rings for the Associated B5 and a range of pan cars. Using their ‘Totally Flat Technology’, TKO claims to have produced the finest diff rings available. Using a proprietary process, the rings faces are flat to within 2 microns. and the faces are parallel to within 1 micron, one micron being 40 millionths of an inch (.0000040). The faces have a #7 finish to provide traction for the diff balls and they fit flat on the hub for near zero run out.

Elliott Harper wins on Schumacher debut

New Schumacher signing Elliott Harper has kicked off his 2015 campaign with a great result at last weekend’s popular Rug Racers event in the UK. Elliott was competing in the 13.5 boosted class and right from the off, his Mi5evo was dialled in as he set the fastest time TQ’ing 3 out of the 4 qualifying rounds. He then completed his impressive performance by winning the A final. Elliott had the following comments after the race finished:

I’m really happy to have started on such a positive note with Schumacher after only having run the Mi5evo a few times previous to this race. I ran the car in virtually box-standard trim, and it performed flawlessly all day. I had great traction and corner speed, even through the changing track conditions round-to-round. I’m looking forward to the upcoming carpet races even more now!

Samix TRF419 carbon chassis plate

Having recently released their new aluminium chassis for the Tamiya TRF419, Samix have produced a carbon version of the same chassis plate. Featuring different flex characteristics and simply an alternative tuning part to try in place of the kit carbon chassis, this version also includes Samix’s own battery holder.

Mibosport Cup 2014/15 Rd3 – Report

The traditional Christmas race of the Mibosport Cup 2014/2015 took place at the Hotel-Sport in Hrotovice on the 3rd of January 2015. 189 participants was new record of series, when 107 drivers attended the on-road classes with 39 drivers in Touring Car Modified, 49 in Stock LRP, 9 in Formula and 10 drivers in the 1/12th scale class. The off-road classes attracted a total of 82 drivers with 47 drivers participating in 2WD Buggy and 35 drivers in 4WD Buggy.

Dominic Greiner joins Arrowmax

Arrowmax RC announced the signing of young German Serpent driver Dominic Greiner to their team. The World Championship top qualifier will be using Arrowmax honeycomb tools, set up tools and accessories. This is what Dominic Greiner had to say about the deal:

I’m very happy to be a part know from the Arrowmax team. The quality is still perfect from the tools and setup parts. Also the silicone liquids are constant and very good. I’m looking forward for the good cooperation in the next years.

Italian company Mon-Tech have released two new body shells for the 1/10th rally category. The WR1 and WR2 are part of the company’s new WR series of shells. Made from high quality shock proof polycarbonate the package includes the window masks and decals.
