Tamiya M-07 high traction chassis & more

Coming soon from Tamiya and made for the M-07 Concept M-chassis kit are a high traction chassis as well as reinforced suspension parts. Starting with the chassis, the item is made from a special composite material for optimised flex characteristics and thus improved traction in low grip conditions. The item is a direct replacement for the stock chassis. Also new are carbon fibre reinforced C parts, including the front and rear hubs and the steering blocks, as well as the D parts bag, the suspension arms, also moulded from carbon fibre infused composite material. All parts offer greatly improved stability and they twist much less during cornering for better precision and faster corner speeds.

Yeah Racing M-07 aluminium upgrade set

Yeah Racing’s recently introduced blue anodised aluminium steering and suspension upgrade set for the Tamiya M-07 Concept is soon also available in black colour. The kit includes essential upgrades for the steering and suspension area of the M-chassis car such as an aluminium steering assembly, an alloy front bulkhead and alloy shock towers along other items such as rear suspension mounts and a motor cooling element. Using the parts will greatly improve the handling of the car due to offering increased rigidity and precision.

Exotek roll out new 22T & 22-4 option parts

Coming soon from Exotek are new option parts for the TLR 22T and 22-4 series of trucks and buggies. First up is a 4mm front shock tower for all 22T series stadium trucks. Machined from lightweight USA-made carbon fibre the shock stay weighs in at only 12g, scrubbing nearly 3g of weight. The tower is a heavy duty construction with a factory look and a more robust material than the stock plastic for consistent handling on high grip tracks. The part is designed with reinforced profiles along the mounting holes for added strength and it includes hardware to mount the stock body posts. The tower fits all 22T series trucks but not the 22SCT.

Kröger & Püpke take wins at West German regional

Round one of the West German IC Track regionals was held at the fast and demanding track of the AMC-Hamm e.V. club. In the 1/8 class 2 young David Kröger showed his whole talent and a mature drive as he is not only a fast driver, but also kept things in control when it was needed most. With his father Thomas Kröger as a pitman and mechanic David he drove an intelligent race, not risking too much and bringing home the win in front of Bert Poeser and Gunnar Blumedahl.

Ivanov doubles at ARCMBG Steldi Air Champs Rd1

The opening round of the ARCMBG Steldi Air Off-road Championship was held last weekend. Teodor Ivanov came out on top in 1/8th E-Truggy in front of Stanimir Stanev in 2nd and Julian Tolev in 3rd and Teodor Ivanov would also take the win in 1/8th E-Buggy in front of Zdravko Yanakiev.

Available now from Arrowmax is a 7.4V 1400mAh LiPo receiver battery pack. It is of a low-profile design to help lower the overall centre of gravity of both on-road and off-road vehicles. The pack is built from robust cells for durability and it comes pre-wired with a JST BEC plug.

Fenix X1 & Mistral brass lower pod plates

Coming from Fenix are new brass lower pod plates for the Xray X1 and Fenix Mistral 1/10th formula pan cars. The parts were specifically developed for low traction conditions or when running tyres with limited traction as the added rear end weight will greatly improve tyre bite and drivability. The plates are direct fits and have the advantage of lowering the centre of gravity compared to just adding weight in the form of brass motor plates or lead weights. The X1 pod plate weighs in at 36g while the Mistral-specific plate adds 41g. Both are up for grabs now.

Simon Kurzbuch wins at Swiss IC Track Nats Rd1

The opening round of this year’s Swiss Nitro On-road National Championship was held at the iconic Lostallo track recently. In the premier 1/8th on-road class it was IFMAR 1/8th World Champion, Simon Kurzbuch with the TQ and win from Silvio Hächler 2nd. Luca Martinelli in 3rd rounded out the podium result as Michael Henzi in 4th and Tobias Kerler in 5th completed the top 5.
