Available soon from Swedish company Ghea comes this set of 16 pivot balls for the Mugen MBX7 buggy. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming hard-coated for wear resistance and a factory look the ball are lighter and more durable than the standard kit parts.

Xtreme Racing introduce these carbon fibre shock towers for the TLR 8ight 3.0 buggy. The front damper stay is made from 5mm material while the rear variant is cut from 4mm carbon fibre. Both parts are a direct replacement and retain the stock suspension geometry while scrubbing some weight for a lower centre of gravity.

Designed for all 22-series vehicles such as the 22 buggy, 22T stadium and the 22SCT short course truck are these rear aluminium hub carriers from Team Losi Racing. They sport an updated design over the previous version and now feature four mounting positions for the outer camber rod ball stud instead of five. The new parts allow to run lower outer ballstuds without having to fear any interference issues when the suspension fully compresses.

This year’s IFMAR 1/10th Buggy World Championship at the A Main Hobbies’ Silver Dollar R/C Raceway will be run on Pro-Line Suburbs 2.0 and Scrubs X2 compound tyres, A Main Hobbies announce. The #8213-002 Suburbs rear tyre will be run in both the 2WD and 4WD class with the 4WD class also using the #8214-002 Scrubs front tyre. The two have to be used with stock foam inserts. ST Racing Concepts introduce the limited edition red anodised option parts package for Axial’s Wraith rock racer. All parts are manufactured from top grade aluminium material with precision CNC machining and a limited edition red anodising. Available is a complete upgrade kit including parts such as motor plate, transmission plate, shock parts, steering knuckles and C-hubs, upper and lower links, steering linkage, axle trusses, shock mounts and more. All parts are also available separately but, as the complete upgrade kit, only in very limited quantity and only direct through STRC’s web shop.

JConcepts introduce this carbon fibre steering rack for Team Associated’s 2WD line of 1/10th off-road vehicles such as the B4, T4 and SC10. In the stock trim, the B4 steering swings a moulded plastic steering rack supported by bushings. The JConcepts alternative uses the flat panel 2.5mm material as the steering rack with the standard 2 locations for Ackermann adjustment. The new rack includes bearings for the system to glide on while small 1mm aluminium washers act as the crush sleeve between the bell-cranks and bearings. The rack is a direct replacement for all current and old-spec B4’s, T4’s and SC10’s.

Kyosho Germany’s Timo Engelstätter has won the fifth and final round of the North German nitro buggy regionals held at the track of the BOC Kiel. Kyosho team mates Florian Kinzel and Frank Lemke completed the podium with their Team Orion powered Infernos. Timo’s win at the final round of the series also handed him the regional buggy title and the team is now looking forward to the two upcoming rounds of the German nationals in Oberhausen and Bischofsheim.

Following a first teaser last week Sweep now officially introduce their forthcoming Cubix 1/8th buggy tyre. Designed to combine the best features of the Star Trek and Square Armor tyres the new offering is meant to provide great tread wear and traction. The size of the pins is chosen to cope with the enormous power of today’s .21 engines and brushless motors while the pin flexibility makes the tread ideal for rough surface tracks. The Cubix builds on the same carcass as Sweep’s Micro Contacts and Double Action and the tyre comes in sets of four with various options available.
