MSE sign Maxime Noble & Nicolas Reynaud

Mugen Seiki Europe have announced the addition of French drivers Maxime Noble and Nicolas Reynaud to their French and European team. Maxime is the current National B Champion in France and will receive their full support during his first year in the National Elite class. He is a young and growing talent and has already shown that he has the ability to mix it with the big boys. Vega Elite TRF201 2WD race conversion

Having brought you details on the first two releases from the new series of Vega Elite 2WD race conversions, another very similar conversion is now available, this time for the Tamiya TRF201 buggy. As with the other conversions it features a CNC machined aerospace 7075 alloy tub chassis & gearbox, motor plate heat sink, rear shock tower, bodyshell and more. Elite RC Ten-X conversion kit

Elite RC has released an electric conversion kit for the Losi Ten-T / 810. The Elite Ten-X conversion kit will allow you to convert your Ten-T to a Short course truck or a true 1/8 buggy. What’s unique about this conversion is that the overall wheelbase has been lengthened by 1″ giving you the proper wheelbase for SCT / buggy racing. Maxime Favrelle wins 200mm French Cup

The 1/10th scale 200mm French Cup took place at the weekend on the Marseille track in the south of the country. The track has a very technical layout and some rain on Sunday did not help the drivers to get more used to it. Xray/Novarossi driver Maxime Favrelle won the race after taking the lead from Mikael Derdrian in 2nd and Kevin Rasquin in 3rd. Richard Volta wins French 1/8th title

Last weekend the 5th and final round of the French National Championship took place at the BMRC track in Bourg-en-Bresse. In total the race saw 53 drivers in attendance divided into national class and elite class. Being the championship leader before this race Shepherd racer Richard Volta had the biggest chance to win this years national championship title in the elite class. Volta confirmed his intentions by taking the pole-position for the 45 minutes final with a gap of 4 seconds over Jérôme Papaconstantinos, clocking the fastest lap times of all drivers.
