Speedtech RC CK25 aluminium chassis set

Speedtech RC, the brand of German 1/12th scale wizard Markus Mobers, is now offering a red anodised aluminium chassis and lower pod plate set for the CRC CK25. Developed and tested by Speedtech RC team drivers, the prototype chassis has already achieved some racing pedigree by winning the Masters of Foam race. The chassis set is considered to be a hot ticket for all high-traction environments – as they are expected for the upcoming 1/12th scale EFRA Euros in Sittard. The alloy chassis set is a direct replacement and available now.

RDRP EB410 carbon fibre option parts

Revolution Design Racing Products from Germany have introduced a range of carbon fibre option parts for the Tekno RC EB410 buggy. First up are a total of three front and rear shock towers. The direct replacement shock stays are coming as standard geometry front and rear tower as well as -2mm rear variant, all three are designed to replace the standard composite plastic shock stays with sleeker and cooler looking variants. While the standard geometry front and rear towers are machined to kit specification features the rear -2mm variant an updated geometry that bring the droop settings back to standard when running up to 2mm rear gearbox risers. The shock towers are machined from high-quality 4mm glossy finish carbon fibre and they are available separately.

Xray XB8E 2018 1/8th E-Buggy kit – Coming soon

Xray have announced the soon release of the XB8E 2018 specification 1/8th E-Buggy kit. As usual no official information is available prior to the release but it is expected that the buggy will see a similar treatment as the XB8 2018 nitro kit.

Baldo brothers join Hot Race Tyres

Hot Race Tyres have announced the signing of Bryan and Oscar Baldo to their official team for the 2018 season. The Spanish 1/8th buggy frontrunners will participate at all major races such as the Neo Race, the EFRA European and IFMAR World Championship. Bryan says:

We are happy to announce that Oscar and I will be racing for Hot Race next year. After testing the tires in several circuits, we were able to confirm that their potential is awesome. Have a lot of traction and the steering is super good. I want to thank Nicola and the entire Hot Race team for the opportunity that they have given us this year.

Philipp Huber wins at Swiss Indoor Champs Rd2

The MRCP Dagmersellen club near Luzern, Switzerland played host to last weekend’s second round of the Swiss Indoor Championship. In the Touring Modified class and after three rounds of qualifying, Philipp Huber obtained the pole position followed by Renato Isler and local hero Mario Rigert. In the triple A-mains Philipp again stayed on top of things, taking the day’s win from Renato Isler and Marco Balmer, making it an all-Team-Magic podium.

Xpress have introduced a range of chassis balance weight sets for the Execute XQ1 touring car kit. Available are two 4-piece sets of 10g/5g or 15g/10g front and rear weights and also 2-piece set of 25g and 15g centreline weights. All are made using high-quality brass material and they come with gold-colour marking for easy identification. Included in each set is also suitable hardware that allows for quick and easy attachment or removal.

Titan V3 touring car body height adjusters

Coming from Team Titan are the V3 touring car body height adjusters. The version 3 platforms offer a finer thread for more precise body height adjustment and also a black anodised aluminium nut for stealthy looks. The adjusters fit most 6mm body posts and come in sets of four.

The Neo Race 2018 – Announcement

The 2018 edition of the prestigious Neo Race will be held over the four days of Easter from the 29th of March to the 1st of April. For the 2018 edition the organisers announce a new location – the spectacular RC Redovan track near Alicante in Southern Spain, expected by some to be the next European host of the IFMAR Worlds. After a hugely successful twelve years at Harper Adams University in the UK, the event which started out life originally in a warehouse on the docks in Antwerp will be heading south. RC Redovan hosted the 2016 European Championships and boasts a track size of 105m x 85m and is 585m long, offering a new challenge to all racers. The event will be entry limited, offer nitro & E-Buggy classes, covered pitting. Further details including sign up information, website updates, sponsorship and travel and accommodation advice will be posted in due course.
