T-Works T4 spring steel twin-type spool outdrives

Coming from T-Works and made for Xray’s T4 series of 1/10th scale touring cars are spring steel twin-type front spool outdrives. The driveshaft adapters are machined from high-quality material and feature a dual design that allows to use them with or without the driveshaft’s protective C-blades with the result being different cornering and on-power characteristics. The set is a direct fit on the 2018 down to the 2015 spec cars and it includes gold-anodised hardware.

They are precision machined from high-quality alloy material, come with a black surface coating, white lettering and silver edge details for a professional look. The wheels will make camber, toe and droop adjustments more precise and they come in sets of four.

Power HD R6 1/12th pan car servo

Coming from Power HD is the new R6 servo for 1/12th pan cars. The high voltage compatible servo out of Power HD’s new R-series is usable with 4.8V to 8.4V input, it pulls up to 7.5kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.08s and weighs in at only 28.5g. A coreless motor, dual ball bearings and a mixed copper and aluminium geardtrain makes it super tough even when the on-track actions gets severe.

Schelle B64 light front CVA bones & universal 3+1 pistons

Coming from Schelle are the new 76mm light CVA bones for the Team Associated and universal 3+1 shock pistons for a range of 1/10th off-road vehicles. Starting with the front CVA bones, 2-piece bones utilise a lightweight aluminium pin drive shaft mated to proven MIP steel CVA yokes. The bones can handle the power of both 13.5 and 17.5 motors but are not recommended for modified racing. They save about 3.5g of rotating weight, and fit the B64 and B64D.

T-Works BD8-2018 titanium turnbuckle set

T-Works have introduced a titanium turnbuckle set for the Yokomo BD8-2018 touring car. The kit includes a total of seven 64 grade titanium spanners for the steering, servo, and camber links and it includes a suitable 4mm wrench.

Wallace Motorsports sign Chris Verano

Wallace Motorsports have announced the signing of multi-time ROAR US National finalist and top California racer Chris Verano to their nitro on-road team for 2018. Chris will begin his racing season campaigning the WRC GTX 1.3, Ielasi Tuned engines and Hot Race tyres through out California and abroad. He brings years of industry and racing experience to the table and will be an asset for supporting and helping grow the Wallace brand out west. Chris had this to say about the new venture:

5th Annual Big Bend Shootout – Report

Capital City Raceway played host to the 5th Annual Big Bend Shootout recently. Challenging racing conditions with a rough yet high grip track and cold weather made things interesting for the racers and in Pro Nitro Buggy it was Xray’s Landen Lewis who made the best out of the conditions, taking home the win in front of Tekno’s Kenny Morris Jr. and Serpent’s Will McGiver.

Jason Woolridge doubles at Toys for Tots

Thornhill Raceway of Hutto, Texas held their Toys for Tots race last weekend, raising $3000 and lots of toys for the good cause. Jason Woolridge (Xray) was top qualifier in Nitro and would also bring home the win from Xray teammate, Nick Vanderpool while Elliott Martinez rounded out the top 3 results. Over in E-Buggy it was again Jason Woolridge (Xray) with the win as Daniel Grobe (Xray) and Sean Gallagher (Mugen) completed the podium.
