Samix CFX-W aluminium shock plates

Samix have introduced front and rear aluminium shock plates for the MST CFX-W truck. The machined aluminium shock stays offer a 12-hole design to allow for complex shock geometry setups and they are machined from high-quality aluminium for stability and looks. The plates are usable with an optional rear stiffener in case even more reinforcement is needed, they are available as pairs including hardware and in three different colours.

RDRP B64 Type B carbon fibre shock towers

Coming from Revolution Design Racing Products and made for the Team Associated B64 buggies are the new Type B carbon fibre shock towers. First up is the front shock stay that utilises an updated geometry with the upper link mounting positions sitting in an in-between position between the standard inner and outer rows. This lets the camber link ball stud sit in a row with the lower hinge pin for a greatly improved suspension geometry.

Samix have introduced a clamping design aluminium servo arm for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck. The item is machined from high-quality aluminium for improved strength and a low weight while the clamping design makes for improved security in high stress situations. The servo horn is available in three colours and for servos with 23T or 25T spline.

Ruddog Red Stuff O-ring grease

Coming from Ruddog is their new Red Stuff O-ring grease. Developed to protect silicone seals from swelling under the influence of silicone oils while offering a smooth feeling for improved performance at the same time, the lubricant is usable on O- and X-ring seals of shock absorbers, differentials and many more. The grease has proven its performance in many tests carried by the Ruddog team and it comes in a 10ml syringe for easy application.

Xray XB8 69mm 5-dots front spring

Coming from Xray and made for the XB8 range of 1/8th off-road buggies is the new 5-dots progressive front spring. The hardest in the range so far, the spring is best used on high traction tracks were it can improve corner entry steering. Specially developed the progressive spring will become more linear under compression for excellent feeling and feedback in all track conditions. Philipp Huber wins at Carpet Masters Rd1

The HVBRS club of Islikon, Switzerland recently hosted the opening round of the Carpet Master series. Team Magic’s Philipp Huber was the man to beat in the Touring Car class as he took all three qualifiers and the triple finals to take the day’s win from Roland Kupper (Awesomatix) 2nd and Nuno Huber (Xray) 3rd.

Atsushi Hara wins at 2017 ITCMC

Huge RC Circuit of Bangkok, Thailand played host to the 2017 International Touring Car Manufacturers Championship last weekend. The event attracted about 70 entries to compete in several electric and nitro on-road classes. In the premier EP category of Touring Modified it was Meen V. with the TQ, however after the A-mains Atsushi Hara found himself on top of the podium with Surikarn C. and Mongol Span rounding out the top 3 result as Suphathat K. and
Tanit K. completed the top 5 podium.
