MIP have extended their line of famous aftermarket CVDs for the TLR 22T and 22SCT vehicles. Made from high quality steel for excellent wear resistance and toughness, they are a direct replacement for the stock drives, and require no modifications to fit them.
Exotek have produced this heavy duty 7075 alloy construction front bulkhead for the RB6 in a choice of factory Kyosho red or black colours. The part eliminates the 2 plastic steering post spacers and includes 2 M3 set screws to hold in the steering posts for a snug fit. The part has been machined to reduce its weight to only 12 grams while insuring its heavy duty construction.

Jared Tebo has re-signed with Team Orion for another 2 years through to the end of 2014. This will be Tebo’s 5th and 6th consecutive year with Team Orion. Over the past 4 years with Team Orion, Tebo has recorded 7 ROAR National Championships along with many other major wins. Team Orion team manager Joe Pillars has this to say, “Four years ago we were looking to expand our Race Team with another big name driver. The third annual KO Propo Off-Road Championship was held at beautiful West Coast R/C Raceway in La Mirada, California. Over 200 entries from across the country descended upon the Southern California facility to vie for the titles. This event also served as a great warm-up to the Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions to be held at the same facility later in January.

The Monroe carbon fiber battery brace by JConcepts for the B44.2 addresses all the needs of the racer in one simple package. Constructed in genuine 2.5mm carbon fiber material, the Monroe packs a light-weight punch from the beginning. The slim and light-weight design allows it to swing 90 degree articulation which provides the necessary amount of room to install or remove the saddle battery packs. Security is provided by utilizing the stock hardware with the pivot ball used in the rear and lever / latch system in the front. Swing the lever to open and close and the Monroe provides the room to easily exchange battery packs on the fly.

In a commendable display of customer service, Xray will be giving out this upgrade package to current XB4 owners for free. “Despite the long term performance and durability testing to which the Xray XB4 was subjected by the factory and R&D team, several XB4 customers have reported minor issues in crash situations. Xray has been well known to fully stand behind their products and is known for providing first class customer service and support. Even though the reported issues have affected only a small portion of XB4 owners, Xray felt that it would be prudent to provide a free XB4 upgrade package to all XB4 owners through the shop where the kit was originally purchased.”
Schumacher Racing would like to welcome Danny McGee back to their off road team. Danny has been racing at the highest level for several years and has won several British national races. Last year he finished 3rd in 4WD and 10th in 2WD in the highly competitive British championship. Danny will be a top contender in 2013 with the Cougar SV2 and the new CAT K1 buggies. In other driver news Schumacher are pleased to announce two of their top On Road drivers have also signed new deals. 2012 Worlds ‘A’ finalist & multi British Champion Chris Grainger and ETS front runner Martin Hofer have re-signed and are greatly looking forward to racing at the highest level and assisting them with development of new products.
