CSO Racing have introduced a line of clutch bell pinion gears for the Xray RX8 1/8th scale. Made from 7075 T6 hard coated aluminium, they will be available in 15T, 16T, 19T, 20T & 21T versions to allow you to fine tune your clutch for all different tracks.

X-Power have released the latest in its popular line of Foam Racing Wheels for the dNano, the Super Wide. Available in 19RA size, soft & very soft compounds, standard ‘RA’ size rear wheels are 5.5mm in width while the ‘Super Wide’ is 8mm, giving a considerably larger contact patch for even more grip on surfaces like carpet and hard plastic circuits like the Kyosho Home Circuit.

Kyle Branson wins first round of BRCA 200mm Nationals

Reigning British Champion Kyle Branson, who had been busy attending the 1/8th Worlds in Miami, sent us this report from the first round of the BRCA 1/10th 200mm nationals was held at the end of March in the Cotswoulds district. The weather forecast looked promising for the weekend, the sun was shining Saturday morning which looked set to be a really nice day. The traction levels were not too bad to start off with, but with plenty of cars going around the track it soon increased. During practice on Saturday most of the top drivers was separated by a few tenths setting up the scene for some close racing for Sunday.

Pedro Rombouts wins Rd1 of Dutch 1/10th Nats

This season’s Dutch 1/10th scale nationals kicked of at the noise-troubled MACH track, close to Amsterdam. Although the MACH is no longer able to host the EC-B because of noise restrictions, the national was able to be run due to the lower number of attendees and the Kyosho KWC class, which joins the nationals this year, making less noise. Saturday’s training was influenced by sound measuring to get the national drivers below a certain noise level.

CSO have released their aluminium easy set up wheel for 1/10 EP and 1/10 GP cars in Tamiya blue. Specially designed so you don’t need to use your wheel nuts to fix the set up wheel, it features an o-ring around the outer circumference to protect your working surface.

New from Xray for their NT1 and RX8 chassis’ are these titanium 8.4mm pivot balls. Precisely hand ground for high durability and long life, a single Ti pivot ball is 41% lighter than its steel counterpart. Sold in a set of 4, all steel pivot balls being replaced by these new versions gives a total combined weight saving is 12.3 grams.

Simões & Miguel take Portuguese Rd2 victory

Round 2 of the Portuguese Nationals took place recently at the Sintra track in Lisbon. The stock class was again dominated by Jorge Simões with his Associated TC6 securing TQ and the overall win. This time Mário Coelho was the man that challenged Jorge in the Finals, with Mário winning the first A-main but then some accidents in A-main 2 took him out of contention. In the last A-main Mário followed Jorge in the last 4 minutes, but the Associated driver never gived a space for the Tamiya of Mário to pass and secured the win and provisional leadership of the championship.

MR33 Gear diff oil & multi-gauge

MR33, brand of 3-time World Champion Marc Rheinard, have introduced some new items to the growing line of products. Firstly is the line of gear diff oil which comes in 4 different types, A, B, C & D. This temperature resistant and long lasting oil comes in 50ml bottles. Also new is a multi-gauge for measuring ride-height and downstop settings. Made from black anodised aluminium, the measurements are printed onto the surface with the ride height ranging from 2.5mm to 6.0mm in 0.25mm increments, while the droop can be measured from 4.0mm to 7.0mm.
