Pro Line have introduced some new items this month starting with the release of the Crowd Pleazer 2 for the HoBao Hyper 8 / 8.5. The Crowd Pleazer 2.0 is certain to provide racers with the groundb reaking design cues they demand in a body and incorporates ultra-low styling, original bodylines, and functionality to bring you the latest in high performance race technology. Also new from Pro Line is the announcement that the Bow Tie pattern is now available in their range of Low Profile Race (LPR) truggy tire range.

GS Racing CL-1 Advanced – Update

GS Racing CL-1 Advanced Update

GS Racing have provided an update to their new CL-1 Advanced 1/8th scale buggy, that we first mentioned at the start of December. The Taiwanese company has provided a lot more information on the car which features a brand new transmission system that has been lightened by 15 grams to gain greater transmission efficiency. As spotted the first time around, the car also sports new big bore 16mm shock absorbers, and finally a new steering system provides more solid steering. The car will get its official unveiling at next years Nuremberg toy fair.

Much More brushed Motor series

Much More have announced the release of new range of dyno tested brushed motors for various budgets and applications. Providing high RPM and torque, this new range of motors are the perfect choice for 1/10th scale on and off road racers as well as 1/12th scale circuit racers. Available in a range of different winds, the motors all feature stand up brushes, capacitors and the Kali and Eavan series sport dual ball bearings. Other features include colour coded brush heat sinks, while the motor’s high torque amature design creates a more intense magnetic field for quicker spool-up. The Kali Modified motor is available in 10T double, 11T double and 13T double, the Eavan is a 19T motor while the Farrel is 23T.

Designed for the GT2, the new black Factory Team Smoothy Muffler’s extra long design provides better top end performance and smoother power delivery for the most drivable 1/10 scale off-road power band. A black rear exhaust manifold is also available. New for the RC8 is a Factory Team Skid Plate, that protects the chassis of your RC8FT and RC8RS RTR from scratches and scuffs.

Adam Drake wins Kyosho Fall Classic

 Adam Drake wins Kyosho Fall Classic

We reported earlier today on the previous weekends Kyosho Fall Classic truggy results and now we have been sent the buggy results from Revelation Raceway. After TQ’ing the event it was Adam Drake that came out the clear winner for Losi, taking the chequered flag 30 seconds in front of Hobao racer Jeremy Kortz, while top Kyosho racer, Ryan Lutz finished in 3rd, 2 laps back on the winning pair.

All Mod clutch tool

All Mod clutch tool

MID in Germany have announced the release of the All Mod clutch tool, that we showed in pre production form 2 weeks ago. Designed to work with the Speed 2.5 buggy clutch and Speed 2.5/28 truggy clutch, the tool helps the user mount the shoes by making it simple to pop the shoe springs into place. This is done by putting the shoe onto the flywheel pin, place the tool over the end of the crankshaft and turning it anti-clockwise, while pushing, to remove them again just do the same but pull.

Jerome Sartel signs to Xray

Jerome Sartel signs to Xray

Automodelisme.com have the exclusive news that top French racer Jerome Sartel has signed to race for Xray from 2008 onwards. Leaving behind a successful time racing for Crono, Sartel will be considered the replacement for Yannick Aigoin who left for Losi a few months ago. As Xray is imported by RB Products in France, Jerome will run RB motors and will be using ProLine tires for grip.
