PSM Racing MBX6 CVD axles

More new buggy parts from PSM Racing, who have released a pair of front and rear aluminium CVD axles as well as middle axle for the Mugen MBX6. Offering a weight saving of 17.7 grams when using all 3 parts over the stock versions, they are made from high grade 7075 aluminium and all have 2 additional pin mounting positions to use when the original gets worn.

This 3 port motor is an entry level engine that features a large black and white head, easy to tune carburettor and good quality materials used throughout. Nuno Ribeiro Joins Team Associated

Team Associated have signed Former Portuguese National Champion, Nuno Ribeiro, for the 2009 season. Competing with the RC8, Ribeiro will also utilize the soon to be released Reedy VR .21 engine. He joins Spanish star Robert Batlle as the latest European driver to join the 23 time World Championship team. Identified by Team Associated as an opportunistic sector, the European market will now have more representation on the top level for the World Championship Pole Position RC8. Ribeiro brings numerous Portuguese titles and races locally at Trofa, just 15 km from Oporto.

Factory Team B44 LiPo battery cradle

New from Factory Team for the Team Associated B44 is this LiPo battery cradle. Replacing the stock NiMH battery holders, it means the LiPo batteries can be installed securely without messy double-sided tape or adhesives. Specifically sized for use with Reedy’s 5100mAh and 4200mAh saddle pack LiPo batteries, the cradle is CNC machined from light and durable 2.5mm woven carbon fiber. With internal dimensions of 68.9mm x 46.9mm, other hard case LiPo batteries that fall within this measurement can also be used.
