Maverick Strada MT RTR 1/10th RTR monster truck

German Maverick distributors LRP have introduced the Strada MT 1/10th electric monster truck. The vehicle is equipped with eight massive oil-filled shock absorbers while the 4WD drivetrain and the large diameter multi-surface tyres make for traction on every surface. The factory-assembled truck is powered by a 540-size brushed motor and it comes including a strong steering servo, waterproof brushed controller and a 2.4GHz radio system with failsafe feature. The package is rounded out by a pre-painted truck bodyshell.

Mirko Salemi joins BMT 1/8th team

Following the signing of Mattia Collavo to their 1/10th team, BMT have announced the addition of swift Mirko Salemi to their 1/8th scale team. Mirko will campaign the company’s BMT984 Evo in 2017 at all major events such as the national championship, EFRA GP, the IFMAR Worlds and the ENS.

SWorkz S35-2E aluminium chassis braces

Coming from SWorkz and made for the S35-2E 1/8th E-buggy are three aluminium chassis braces. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 alloy and sporting a grey anodised surface for wear and looks, the parts add more longitudinal stability while reducing flex, which can be beneficial in both bumpy and high-grip track conditions. The braces are available as front, centre and rear variant.

LRP Magic Colour 2 matte clear coat

LRP have introduced the Magic Colour 2 matte clear coat. Applying two to three coats on the outside of bodyshells or rear wings makes for a cool look that also combines great with negative logos. The clear coat comes in 150ml cans, it is fuel resistant and fast drying.

2017 Charity Race – Announcement

The annual Charity Race will be held on the 14th and 15th of January. A tight race calendar forced the organisers to shift the event to the second weekend of January, nevertheless a range of European top drivers such as Marc and Toni Rheinard, Ronald Volker, Viktor Wilck, Francesco Martini, Max Machler, Marcel Geiger, Yannic Prumper, Dominic Vogl as well as several Italian top drivers already signed in for the race that will raise money for the good cause. New shirts & hoodie from Pro-Line

Coming from Pro-Line are several new T-shirts and a hoodie. As for the shirts, first up is the Pro-Line 82 shirt, featuring Throwback 1982 Red and Blue styling creating a large P-L logo in the front. The shirt also sports a small Pro-Line logo centred on the upper back.

Mattia Collavo teams up with BMT 200mm team

Italian brand BMT have announced the signing of Mattia Collavo to their 1/10th 200mm team. 30-years old Mattia will pilot the company’s BMT701 1/10th nitro on-road kit at all major national events while running ARC cars as part of the ARC Nitro Italy team in the 1/8th nitro on-road class.

Mikrotek Engineering MT7 Onyx .21 nitro on-road engine

Newly founded company Mikrotek Engineering have introduced their first in a line of competition nitro engines, the MT7 Onyx .21 nitro on-road power plant. Coming from a joint venture of Malik Diop and Angelo Economou with the help of Francesco Tironi and international drivers from Germany, France, Spain and Japan, Mikrotek Engineering will focus on developing and producing high-quality competition engines with exceptional all-round characteristics. The MT7 Onyx becomes available from end of January 2017 with the MT4 Zeus off-road and MT3 Hercules .12 on-road engines coming at a later date. Also available will be accessories such as exhausts and glow plugs.
