Exotek Racing XB2 7075 alloy idler gears

Exotek Racing have introduced these hard anodised 7075 alloy idler gears for the complete Xray XB2 series of gear boxes. Available in 38T, 36T and 25T, they are a must have for high powered racing applications. This is much stronger than the stock plastic idler gear but not indestructible so it is important to use black or white grease on the gears and reapply frequently to prolong its life along with proper slipper adjustments.

Matt Chambers joins Schumacher Racing

Schumacher Racing are very pleased to announce the signing of extremely experienced and professional US racer Matt Chambers. He has made multiple ROAR Nationals Mains and is a great guy to add to the USA team. His focus will now be on 1/10th Off Road with his Schumacher rides. Matt had the following to say, ‘I have wanted to race for Schumacher Racing for more than a decade, I have always felt that they make superior cars with no compromises. This year it has all finally lined up for me to do so. I can’t wait to race the Schumacher cars and work with the US and the European team drivers. Needless to say I’m very excited for 2022 & 2023. Many thanks to Muz, Robin and the guys at Schumacher for making this happen.’

JConcepts B6.3 titanium axle

JConcepts has designed a user friendly and light-weight titanium axle specifically for the Team Associated B6.3. The blooming flower design offers individual pads to support the wheel. This allows the part to reduce even more rotating weight on the axle and with the titanium material supporting the load, offers great durability. The titanium material axle anodised in black has second operation machining and JC laser etched logos for the best look possible. JConcepts B6.3 servo mount brace

JConcepts introduces this servo mount brace for the B6.3 line of vehicles. Constructed of light-weight aluminium, it has been a staple to racer’s vehicles going back to previous generation vehicles. The simple and sleek design with performance and tracking advantages have spoken volumes throughout the years on the racetrack. The mount fits snug inside the chassis servo mounting area increasing the support while the 2 screw mounting locations are beefy in design and zeroed in for a direct mount to the chassis. The brace has locations on each side for included 3x6mm set screws to help align and maintain servo position during racing conditions, crashes, and hard hits. The set screws are intended to touch-off against the servo case and provide additional support retaining the servo in the intended position which helps maintain consistent steering trim. The servo mount brace can be installed without any modifications or additional equipment in B6.3 vehicles. Xray XB8 carbon fibre chassis side guards

For the XB8, Xray have released these moulded carbon fibre chassis side guards. Carbon fibre side guards are stiffer in the longitudinal direction to improve stability but still allow for some chassis twist that can help generate traction. Moulded from high-quality carbon fibre, the side guards perfectly fit the chassis plate to seal against dirt and protect from side impacts. The set includes left and right side guards. The side guards fit XB8, XB8E, XT8, and XT8E from year 2016 onwards.

Pro-Line Hex Shot 1/8 buggy race tires

Pro-Line have introduced the Hex Shot 1/8 Buggy race tire, a stepped-pin tire designed to tackle loose and loamy tracks. Beefy pins are arranged in rows of hexagon-shaped pods down the centre of the tire, while the smaller outer tread is made up of connected chains of pins. The step-pin design helps support the tall pins while your buggy carves through loose dirt, providing excellent forward grip and braking stability. The Hex Shot is made with Pro-Line’s latest generation carcass shape for improved bump handling, while the large pin design gives you the longevity for main events.
