JConcepts Hawk/Animal tyres for Losi Mini-B/Mini-T 2.0

JConcepts has released a new front and rear tyre for the Losi Mini-B. The new Hawk front tyre and Animal rear offer one of the best ways to attack the dirt and sand. JConcepts’ narrowed carcass on the Hawk has strategically placed radius ribs in a step-up fashion to give turning traction during different depths of surface conditions while the Animal carcass has strategically placed upper paddles with a scoop shape to thrust into any patch of terrain. One of the most important functions of driving in loose dirt is the ability to track the vehicle in a straight-line. The Hawk is cut to perform during long straight sections of bashing and flat-out high-speed runs across the RC sand dunes. The Animal is cut from the tooth of all JConcepts performance tires and excel during long straight sections of bashing and flat-out high-speed runs across the RC sand dunes. Both tyres are built in the durable and grippy green compound which gives support and traction in mixed conditions and is held with an open cell insert for extra cushion during jump landing.

JConcepts F2I 1:8 Buggy/Truck Wing

JConcepts has released their new F2l 1:8 Buggy/Truck wing.  With their drivers routinely searching for the ultimate aero package on the 1:8 off-road scene, JConcepts is directly on top of the latest trends with the release of the F2I rear wing. F2I relates to Finnisher related items morphing into a 2nd generation and this new wing fits the bill perfectly. Adding the “I” relates to it being IFMAR competition legal in terms of its side-dams being large enough to comply with rules and procedure on the world-wide racing scene.

JConcepts S15 TLR 8ight-X 2.0/XE body

JConcepts have announced the release of their S15 body shell for the TLR 8ight-X 2.0/XE. When the World Championship arrives, it’s important to be prepared with new items to fine tune the racing package at the largest event in the world. JConcepts arrived with a fresh lid for the TLR 8ight-X 2.0 vehicle used in competition by top pilot Dakotah Phend. The S15 packs a lot of performance into a stylish package consistent with vehicle upgrades and performance aero enhancements recently made on the racing circuit. The S15 blends performance features on the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets and rear stabiliser kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. The engine area remains clean, and a deep-rooted position allows the engine head maximum side exposure to air and escape. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the TLR 8ight-X 2.0 and XE models. For the precise fit, the design has undergone changes to match the TLR chassis side-guards and body mount positioning. The S15 stance cockpit allows ample fuel tank access, a smoother high-speed windshield transition which tackles even the most high-speed conditions. The hard-edged chamfering provides the classic JConcepts look while also delivering aero benefits and perfect decal positioning. Each S15 body receives window mask, decal sheet and is backed with JConcepts customer support and racing heritage.

Avid Ringer Bullet Plug Grips

Avid Racing Concepts have released these Ringer Bullet Plug Grips. Bullet grips have been around for a few years now and Avid figured it was time for them to put their take on these handy parts. First, they ergonomically shaped them to allow for a bit more grip when pulling them out. With a preference for the full stealth look, they did both of the grips in black with positive (+) and negative (-) laser etched on the base of each and included black and red shrink tubing that you can add to your wire for immediate notification. Last but not least they added their Ringer design to these by adding 5 silver highlight rings, one of which is inside the grip which makes these items sparkle like no other.

JConcepts Smoothie 2 Silver compound Pre-mounted

JConcepts has release a new slick offroad tyre, the Smoothie 2.  In some conditions in offroad racing, there is no denying that a slick tyre is the fastest way around the track. Indoor and occasionally outdoor clay surfaces become so tacky or free of dust and debris that a total slick tire is an advantage. For years drivers have sanded, ground, and hand sculpted tires in search of that elusive slick carcass, now, JConcepts has the Smoothie 2. 2023 Dirt Nitro Challenge – Announcement
