T-Works bulkhead anti-tweak blocks

Made for most of today’s electric touring cars are T-Works’ new bulkhead anti-tweak blocks. The machined aluminium alignment tools help to build straight and tweak-free bulkhead and chassis assemblies and they are compatible with Xray, Yokomo, HB/HPI, Tamiya, VBC Racing, CSO, Team C, Serpent and ARC touring cars. The blocks are available in red, orange and black colour, they feature machined edges and are laser-etched for easy recognition of the bulkhead distance.

Michal Abrahamek wins at Internationclub Series Rd1

The opening round of the Internationclub series was held at the Morac Graz club in Austria. The event attracted racers from Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Austria and it was held in several on-road classes. In 1/10th 200mm Michal Abrahamek (Xray/O.S.) took the TQ and he went on to win the main final in pretty dominant fashion from the Sonic-powered Shepherd of Gergö Lehner. Igor Liptak (Xray/FX) rounded out the podium result in third.

Teamsaxo T4'16 soft carbon fibre chassis & top deck

Coming from Teamsaxo and made for Xray’s T4’16 electric touring car are a soft carbon fibre main chassis and upper deck. Starting with the chassis, it is cut from high-quality carbon fibre and it sports a total of four cut-outs, front and back of the battery and electronics compartment, to make for more torsional flex than a plain chassis plate. The added flexibility will add traction and drivability in very low grip conditions or when running hard spec tyres.

Max Götzl wins Czech Offroad Party series Rd1

The season opener of the Czech Offroad Party series was held in Kolin this past Saturday. Due to rain the qualifiers only started at noon and also for the main finals the drivers had to cope with a damp track and it was Max Götzl (Xray) who made the best out of the conditions by taking the TQ in all qualifying rounds to grab the overall TQ from Jiri Benes (Xray) and Frantisek Kalenda (Xray). For the main final Max was able to conserve his qualifying performance and after a flawless run he took the win from Jiri and Frantisek in second and third respectively.

Ielasi Tuned soon expand engine range

Ielasi Tuned have announced the soon release of three new nitro engines. The range will include a 7-port .21 buggy engine as well as two all-new on-road sport engines, a .21 5-port and a .12 3-port. The engines add to the already existing high-performance competition line and more information about features and specifications will become available shortly.

Hovgaard & Gosvig score at Danish EP Buggy opener

The opening round of the Danish Electric Off-road Nationals was held in rather wet track conditions. In the 2WD Buggy class it was Yokomo driver Frederik Hovgaard who came out fastest in the A-mains by winning A1 and A2 to grab the overall win early. Behind him Jesper Rasmussen (Team Associated) and Mike Gosvig (Xray) battled for the runner-up spot with the better end for Jesper while Mike rounded out the podium result.

Gray & Desoto Jr. win at Miami Grand Prix

Last weekend’s 2016 Miami Grand Prix attracted over 200 drivers to compete in the four classes of 1/8th Open and Masters, 1/8th GT and 1/10th 200mm Sedan. While Chris Tosolini grabbed the win in the 1/8th Open category it was Scotty Gray who came out fastest in the Sedan class from Paolo Morganti. Junior Castellanos rounded out the top 3 result. In the growing 1/8th GT class Joaquin Desoto Jr. took a comfortable win with a 4-lap margin over runner-up, Joachim Bruneau. Charles Parsons came in third another two laps down.

Cox parts tray, rebound gauge & chassis stand

Cox have introduced a range of pit accessories such as an aluminium parts tray, a rebound gauge and a chassis stand. Starting with the parts tray, it is made of 6061 aluminium and offers an expandable design with different trays can be connected to one larger one. An attachment allows to measure screw or linkage lengths, screw diameters and the five holes also take bullet-type connectors while soldering. The trays are available in four different colours with carbon strips covering the outer connection holes when not in use.
