Schelle B5M Pro Built ball differential

Schelle B5M Pro Built ball differential

Coming soon from Schelle Racing Innovations is the Pro Built ball differential for the Team Associated B5 series vehicles. Pro built by Nick Wautlet, the diff uses Schelle 3/32″ tungsten carbide differential balls along with a caged ceramic thrust bearing for buttery smooth diff action. It also uses genuine Team Associated outdrives, diff gear, rings, and the T-nut assembly and it is broken-in using a drill to seat parts and pre-groove the diff rings. The diff comes ready-to-run but needs to be set as it is stored loose to prevent damaging the rings.

Carlos Manuel successful at Portuguese 200mm Nats Rd1

Round one of the Portuguese On-road Nationals was held at the Coimbra track in rainy weather conditions. After a rained out qualification the weather seemed to turn to the better around lunch break and come the start of the main final the weather situation was open and unclear if it would start to rain again or not. Carlos Manual, who had some mixed qualifiers, opted to go for rain tyres shortly before the start and at the tone he just waited for the other drivers to take off to see how his car would behave. To his surprise his Xray was very drivable and after gaining confidence he managed to make up the lost time and by lap 8 he was in front of the pack and from there he was able to control the gap and to bring home the win from Franco Vilarinho (Mugen) in second and Tiago Afonso (KM) in third.
