ZooRacing Drakster 1/12th LMP body shell

ZooRacing has finally entered the highly competitive 1/12th racing class with the Drakster body shell. To create this fast body, ZooRacing re-developed all areas from the front to the rear. Starting with a true front splitter, narrow and aerodynamic efficient front wheelhouses and its optimised sleek air outtakes, followed by the advanced cab forward design and the efficient rear spoiler. The body is very low, according to the latest generation of 1:12 pan car designs. The whole surface of the Drakster is smooth and without any sharp corners, that could create unwanted turbulences keeping the body very efficient and stable in any racing situation.

OfficinaRC X4 lower pivot ball & centre shim screw

Officina RC have presented their new lower 6mm pivot balls in titanium for the new Xray X4. Machined from solid titanium and 100% made in Italy they will offer a 40% weight saving from the original. Thanks to the titanium it will significantly reduce the masses of weight in the outermost point of the car, making it more robust, in a point exposed to shocks. Also new are these centre shim screws with central flange that have been created and designed to guarantee optimal tightening of the shock absorbers by reinforcing the anchor point and at the same time reducing the weight compared to the original ones. Thanks to the support surface in contact with the arm, the centre shim screw prevents the screw from bending.

OfficinaRC brass smart shims

Following the release of their alu smart shims, OfficinaRC have introduced these new brass smart shims. They have applied a laser on the side of the shim in order to immediately recognise its size, saving time and making everything easier. Now you will no longer have any doubts about which size it is, at a glance you will be able to identify the fitted size and no longer need a caliper. The material used, brass, plays a fundamental role, increasing the weight at the lowest point in order to help lower the centre of gravity and make the car even more stable. Measurements are defined by solid lines and segmented lines. The solid ones indicate millimetres and the segmented ones indicate half millimetres. The zig-zag line indicates the 1.75mm one. Available in the following sizes, 3x9x1.0mm (0.50g), 3x9x1.5mm (0.72g), 3x9x1.75mm (0.83g), 3x9x2.0mm (0.95g), 3x9x2.5mm (1.20g), 3x9x3.0mm (1.44g) and 3x9x3.5mm (1.66g). Each package contains 8 pieces per size.
