Testlogger data collecting and analysing tool

Testlogger data collecting and analysing tool

Better known as the organiser of what is regarded as one of the best World Championships to date, Finland’s Jussi Luopajärvi has been working on another RC project called Testlogger, a tool for collecting and analysing track performance. Starting with a vision for a better way to collect data from test and race days compared to notepad or MS Excel, this tool stores laptimes, setups, conditions and comments, with weather conditions automatically fetched for outdoor tracks while laptimes can be imported from Mylaps. The collected data helps to compare and analyse track performance of single days or in the long term from yourself or your racing buddies. A social sharing function helps spread the word with the public or your friends only, using the Testlogger feed or through private messages. A comprehensive archive function stores past setups with every set-up change being accessible while runs, sessions and notes can be tagged for future reference. The web based, and currently completely free to use, service is available here with a lot of new features being added all the time to further improve the tool.

Ronnefalk wins 2WD at DHI Cup

Ronnefalk wins 2WD at DHI Cup

David Ronnefalk is the new DHI Cup 2WD Buggy Champion.  The factory HB driver secured his first victory at the Danish event after seeing off a crowd entertaining challenge from A2 winner & former champion Joern Neumann.  Having taken an easy win in A1 with a near perfect drive, in A2 mistakes allowed Neumann to take the win setting the stage for a head to head between the two Pro drivers. Top Qualifier, A3 didn’t get off to a good start for Ronnefalk as he made a first lap mistake at the back double allowing the similar Team C chassis of Neumann to the front but the race was far from decided with the two shadowing each other with young Michal Orlowski in tow.  With a minute to go however a mistake from Neumann would give Ronnefalk the break he needed to kick off his 2015 season with a victory.
