Xray 1/10th on-road adjustable body mounts

Xray now have their own version of the popular height adjustable body mounts available. Made from orange anodised 7075 aluminium the body stops offer an adjustment range of 3mm to fine tune the height and rake of touring car bodies on T2, T3 and T4 cars. A the size of the height adjustment nut and a marking dimple make for convenient and precise adjustment. The parts that come as pair can also be used on the front of the NT1 200mm nitro touring car.

Cody King TQs & wins at Mugen Grand Prix Rd1

This past weekend marked the first round of the Mugen Grand Prix in Chula Vista, California. There were plenty of local fast guys in attendance including Cody Smith who won the Hi-Tech race on this layout, and track manager Don Vinkemulder. With only 20 minutes of practice Kyosho’s Cody King went to work right away with a TQ run in round 1 of qualifying, which would stand giving him the pole position.

Xray XB8 aluminium steering kingpin plates

Xray introduce new aluminium steering kingpin plates for the XB8 buggy. The plates are specially designed for the use with Xray’s XPBS pivot ball system and allow to fine-tune the Ackermann setting and thus the steering characteristic of the buggy. Beside the standard 14 degree part there are also 10 degree and 6 degree plates available that reduce the on-power steering, with the 6 degree part offering the smoothest on-power steering setting. The parts come as pairs, they are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and offer a hard-coated finished for durability and looks while white markings help with identification.

Schelle B5M aluminium rear ballstud mount

Schelle Racing Innovation’s latest option part for the Team Associated B5M mid motor buggy is this aluminium rear ballstud mount. The lightweight mount adds durability in addition to increased tuning options as along with standard kit width mount holes – the middle hole on the Schelle part – there are option inner and outer holes which give added fine tuning for the upper links. The mounting bracket is available in either black or blue anodised versions.

Schumacher Cougar alloy front hub carriers

Available now from Schumacher are these CNC alloy hub carrier in black with silver edges. Stronger and longer wearing than the standard kit plastic parts, they are suitable for the Cougar KF and KR which use hex wheels. The hubs are also useable on the Cougar SV2 if fitted with the hex wheel conversion.

Team C TC02C Evo 2WD mid motor buggy

Team C Racing introduce the TC02C Evo mid motor 2WD buggy kit. Based on the proven TC02C, the Evo variant received a new 8mm longer composite chassis, 12mm big bore aluminium shock absorbers, a front aluminium arm mount, and a rear anti-roll bar. The new design chassis is designed for the use with shorty, saddle pack or square pack LiPo battery packs while the 4-gear transmission is equipped with a heavy duty gear differential and a machined aluminium heatsink motor plate. The kit is topped off by a new cab forward bodyshell.

Völker & Cola take wins at HotRace Cup

The HotRace Cup for 1/10th electric touring cars took place in Rome this past weekend at the beautiful Axa track, located halfway between the ancient city centre and the beach. With the best Italian drivers and some illustrious foreign additions such as Alexander Hagberg, Marc Rheinard, Eric Dankel, Lucas Urbain and the newly crowned 4-time back-to-back ETS champion Ronald Völker everything was set for a hot race. Despite the event being run for the first time the race promised to be very interesting and entertaining, and so it was.
