JConcepts B44.2 aluminium steering bellcrank set

JConcepts B44.2 aluminium steering bellcrank

New from JConcepts comes the aluminium steering bellcrank assembly for the Team Associated B44.2 buggy. In the stock trim, the B44 steering swings an all moulded, plastic bellcrank system as well as a plastic steering rack supported by bushings. The JConcepts design includes an aluminium driving and driven bellcrank and incorporates a flat panel 2.5mm material as the steering rack with three locations for Ackermann adjustment. The new rack includes bearings for the system to glide on while long stainless steel ball studs provide the connection between the system and steering tie-rod. The servo-saver less aluminium bellcranks, that are available in blue or black colour, allow for a more precise steering feel with increased steering through less defection while the carbon fibre rack pivots freely on the bearing supported system allowing the driver to feel less drag and quicker response.

RT announce option parts for the RB One R

Reckward Tuning from Germany announce new option parts for RB’s One R 1/8th buggy in the form of front and rear carbon fibre shock towers, vented fibre glass brake discs and a set of rubber-sealed ball bearings. Both the front and the rear shock stay sport additional inner shock mounting positions for added tunability. Next up are machined fibre glass brake discs whose design and material makes for better stopping power and minimised brake fading. The discs are white of colour and a direct replacement for the stock parts. Last but not least comes a RS spec rubber sealed ball set. Included are 24 ball races, treated with high-quality grease for long durability and less maintenance.

Wheeler & Lutz score at Futaba Nitro Challenge

The Futaba Nitro Challenge was run at the Dirt Burners track in St Louis in most of the important 1/8th classes and saw Team Durango’s Ryan Lutz being the fastest in Pro Buggy qualifying. The double A mains saw Xray’s Josh Wheeler taking A1 with Carson Wernimont, Mark Pavidids, and Ryan Lutz taking the following position. Wheeler had another great run in the deciding second A main and wrapped up the overall championship. In the Pro Arena Truck class, more commonly known as Truggy, top qualifier was the always fast Ryan Lutz. AKA teammate Josh Wheeler was able to take the win in A1 but Lutz came back to take the win in A2 which gave him the championship for Arena Truck. Electric 1/8 Buggy saw Lutz being TQ, followed by Wernimont and upcoming driver Dylan Gerard starting 4th on the grid. Bad luck would plague Wernimont and Gerard, causing them to retire early but Lutz would prevail and go on to take the win in the 10-minute main.
