Durango aluminium gearbox holder & servo arms

Team Durango have released some new items including this rear aluminium gearbox holder. Manufactured from high quality durable material it has been anodised in their distinctive olive finish and is the perfect item to enhance your Team Durango vehicles strength, and increase the ‘wow factor’ when you pop off the body shell in the pits. This item features a machined set-screw to assist with battery strap hinge pin fixing and is suitable for all the 4wd EP offroad cars. Also new is their high quality aluminium servo arms which are precision manufactured to give you confidence every time you apply steering input. Etched with the Team Durango logo and also bearing the servo tooth size configuration, your steering will be perfectly balanced whatever the track conditions. Available in several tooth size configurations that will fit many popular servo units.

JConcepts T4.2 Finnisher 1/10th truck body

Seen at last weekend’s JConcepts Winter Indoor Nationals, the new Finnisher 1/10th truck body for the T4.2 racing truck is now available. The slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance highlight a performance oriented core. A revised front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for the redesigned front-end T4.2 geometry while smoothing out the front down force area. Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight while the supplied decals stand-out like an 18 wheeler. Like the ROAR National Champion Hi-Flow SCT body, the T4.2 body has built-in air escape passages which allow the customer to fine-tune the body for maximum outdoor performance. The new body includes the high performance gurney spoiler which increases rear grip and balances the handling characteristics of the aggressively styled body.

Awesomatix glass setup board

RC Awesome, the Swiss Awesomatix distributor, has introduced this new 300 x 400mm setup board which is made in Switzerland. Made from tempered glass, it sports a sandblasted Awesomatix logo to show your allegiance to the Russian manufacturer and as you would expect, while perfectly flat it is not light, weighing in at 2.135kg.

Reedy Sonic 540 Mach 2 brushless motors

The motor will be available in 4 different spec versions, 10.5, 13.5, 17.5 & 21.5 as well as a complete range of modified versions when it is released later this month. Vampire Racing 2013 LiPo packs

Vampire Racing have announced the release of three new LiPo battery packs in the form of a 4200mAh 30C, 5300mAh 30C and 7200mAh 70C pack. The 4200mAh 30C 7.4V pack is an entry level pack ideal to upgrade RTR cars, buggies and trucks with a high-performance LiPo battery. Housed in a 23.5mm hardcase with lower locating lugs the pack also fits many older kits with battery location chassis cut-outs. The lightweight battery is also ideal for 2WD buggies racing on slippery dirt and clay tracks.

LRP Dynamic 10 brushless motor line

LRP have released their new Dynamic 10 brushless motor line offering high-end motors in 540 and 550 size. The ultra lightweight, precision machined 7075-T6 aluminium housing has optimised cut-outs for best heat absorption and lowest running temperatures also at full power output. A special design with 4 magnets and 12 slots provides plenty of torque while the precision balanced rotor guarantees maximum radial run-out and rpm. The Dynamic 10 is available in 3800kv, 4800kv & 5800kv while the Dynamic 10L comes in 2400kv, 3700kv & 4700kv versions.

Protoform PFL128 race body

Seen in a teaser image a while back Protoform have now released full details on the all-new PFL128 race body. This body takes styling cues from a “new for 2013” LMP2 racer slated to run in the WEC Championship along with 24h of Le Mans. Air management and body rigidity were the prime considerations when re-designing the front fenders and lengthening the side recesses. The PFL128 meets all EFRA (#31531), IFMAR and ROAR body rule requirements and includes headlamp decals, as per ROAR rules. It is available in three weights of genuine lexan: . 040” (regular weight), .030” (light weight) and .025 Lexan® (PRO-lite weight for expert racers only). Included with the PFL128 is protective outer film, body side-stiffeners (w/hardware) and decal sheet.

Bullitt B-219 .21 offroad engine

After the success of the top of the range Bullitt B-218, the company is delighted to announce its successor the Bullitt B-219. Throughout 2012, they have been extensively testing to provide the best possible replacement for the market leading B-218, and the result is an improvement in all areas. Concentrating on drivability and fuel efficiency, and having found notable gains in these areas, they also improved the top end power of the engine. Of course the established quality of Bullitt engines hasn’t been compromised in any way, and the features unique to the top of the range engine, such as the ceramic rear bearing and the DLC coated/tungsten balanced crankshaft are retained for maximum performance and longevity.
