Team Associated now offer a new optional Factory Team 4-shoe steel flywheel for the RC8B3. A direct replacement for the standard aluminium version (12 grams), the steel flywheel (36 grams) is heavier and therefore increases the overall rotating mass of the clutch assembly. This offers a more stable engine idle and a smoother bottom end throttle feel.

Aimed at the serious RC rock crawler enthusiast, the new Enduro Gatekeeper kit from Element RC is packed full of performance features. Sporting the all-new Gatekeeper Suspension package, it consists of rear trailing arms that move the shocks forward, allowing a larger window for shock tuning and providing improved weight bias. The trailing arms are paired with a rear anti-roll bar for a more stable and consistent suspension when crawling on the rocks. An adjustable aluminium track bar mount, firmly bolted to the chassis rail, gives the Enduro GK more reliable and responsive steering without the flex. Our shock mount inserts with multiple mounting positions allow for precise suspension tuning whether it’s moving the shocks up, down, forward, or back.

The Deutschlandpokal race was held last weekend at the famous Sand-am-Main track in Germany and it attracted some of the country’s top racers. Despite the weather limiting running early on, it eventually cleared and with qualifying completed it was SWorkz driver Micha Widmaier that took the top spot. In the final it was Mugen driver Berkan Kilic that emerged on top at the end of the 40 minute race, with Widmaier making a mistake that dropped him into the runner up spot, just 6 seconds back, while Burak Kilic completed the podium in 3rd a further 8 seconds back.

This new T7075 aluminium hard coated Intensify chassis from SWorkz is designed to give their S12-2 2wd buggy more rigidity and stiffness. This will help when running in super high grip conditions such as carpet racing. Additionally the new chassis plate also offers more support for the rear suspension.

The 2020 Austrian EP offroad Nationals was hosted by the RMC Wien track in Ebreichsdorf and due to Covid restrictions was condensed into a single event. Qualifying saw a battle between the Xray trio of Hupo Honigl, Ádám Izsay and Lucas Grainer, with the multiple European Champion Honigl coming out on top in both the 2wd and 4wd classes. In the finals it was more of the same from Honigl as he would take the win in both classes with the podium also identical in both classes as Grainer took 2nd and Izsay 3rd.

JConcepts have introduced two new 2.2″ versions of their well known Monster truck tires, the Fling Kings and the Renegades Jr. Starting with the Fling Kings, they are the first RC Mega Truck tire, specifically designed to throw mud, dirt, gravel and grass just like the real thing. The giant-sized tires are tall enough to dance through the deepest RC loam, however, it is the tall lugs that separate them from the rest. The 1:1 tires were hand-cut to produce the most wicked looking tires on the block ad the JConcepts tires are uniquely built to replicate a hand-cut set, however, deep tread remains to do the “mega” land damage the drivers and enthusiasts crave.
