JConcepts Mortician body for Axial SMT10

Dig a hole, lay the competition 6’ under with the new Mortician body for the Axial SMT10 and similar vehicles from JConcepts. The converted to panel truck body is competition friendly and uniquely sized featuring the scolding front headlight protrusions. As a racer, front and rear clearance is important for racing and freestyle competition, the Mortician has the submarine outer light pods resting against the tightly compressed nose to look the part. JConcepts created a beak style front-end, large swooping front flares for a racy feel and a very broad and removed centre grille to back up promises of massive carnage. The panel truck cab and roof-over section is flat and to the point, the windshield has a slight V-treatment for realism. Maximum imagination to the masses is what this body shell is all about with the large exposure panel areas. The tall panel section is a bonus, an artboard in a sense to decorate, decal or paint however the user desires. Included in each body set, a clear and heavy-duty polycarbonate body, decal sheet and the paint mask for all windows.

Kev Lee joins Schumacher Racing

Schumacher Racing have announced that Kev Lee has joined their offroad team. Kev brings vast experience and great speed to the table, being a previous EFRA Euro’s A finalist, multiple BRCA National winner and regular top 10 performer. Kev will be seen at popular UK events including Worksop, Silverstone, BRCA Regionals and Nationals, all subject to COVID restrictions and he had the following to say.

I last raced for Schumacher in the late 90s and early 2000s and have fond memories of the team and cars of the time, so I’m really excited to return. The cars on offer at the moment are strong contenders in all classes, and with the continual development, from the factory and the team, I’m certain they will continue to be so. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.

JConcepts React 2.2″ 2wd & 4wd rear open cell inserts

JConcepts have come with their React 2.2″ 2wd & 4wd rear open cell inserts. One common adjustment made during carpet and turf racing is altering the rear tire insert. One of the recent trends is utilising a narrower rear insert while racing on carpet and turf, which has shown to produce different handling characteristics. The narrower design leaves more room for sidewall plunge providing more side-bite. In addition, the insert is low-profile, tight, and compact so the tire maintains its small shape for quick and nimble transition and acceleration.
