Wilck Racing Products diff & shock-oils

Wilck Racing Products is widening its brand with top of the line differential and Shock-oil. The Oil has been tested through out the year and been run by drivers at the World Championship in Holland with great success. Designed to be used in both 1/10 on and off-road racing and as well in 1/8 off-road it comes in a wide range of weights from 250 to 950 for shocks and 1500 to 7000 for diffs.

Evens & Keyaerts win Belgian SCT Cup Rd4

Home of the famous Belgian GP, MBV Kampenhout hosted the 4th leg of the Belgian SCT Cup recently. The track is very challenging with a lot of elevation and off camber turns. The 2WD class qualifications saw Nicolas Evens taking TQ with his freshly built 22SCT by winning all 3 qualifiers. Vincent Brauns won the first final leg with his TeamC truck, Nicolas ending second under strong pressure from Mike Renotte. In the second leg, Nicolas came ahead of Mike. Vincent had a bad start and ended 3rd. During the last final, Vincent and Mike had a great fight, Mike closing on Vincent lap by lap, ending 0,3 second behind. Nicolas took the leg win and the overall.

Cseko, Timar & Varsanyi win Rd7 in Hungary

The 7th and penultimate round of the Hungarian Onroad Championships was held in Pecs last weekend. The club cleaned and sugar-watered the track for this event so the grip was there right from the beginning. This time the direction of the track has changed from regular anti-clockwise to clockwise which was a but tricky in the beginning for mechanics during refueling. The layout is fast and flowing with only one harpin corner and the weather was nice all weekend, around 25°C and no winds.

Hobby Haven Off-road Shootout report

JConcepts Team Driver Dave Duncan made the trip from Florida to Urbandale, Iowa for the 2012 Hobby Haven Off-road Shootout annual race. The track, a black dirt surface, is built next to the Hobby Shop building with a nice large concrete parking lot to pit on right next to the track. The track crew was awesome with the keep up, track watering, blowing the track off and/or just using a push broom in the corners to remove the fluff off the driving surface.

Available in 4.0T, 4.5T, 10.5T, 13.5T, 17.5T this new generation brushless motor offer more torque, more power and more speed. Featuring high power, bullet style, high current plug in connector system and a new adjustable high motor timing, from 11 to 20 degrees as standard. The new motor timing system allows you to have smooth low, mid power and punch, or an overall linear power band. The hard coated aluminium motor can and multi vent design offers increased motor cooling and maximum performance.

CRC Xti 1/12th scale chassis

Seen at this Summer’s World Championships and building on the winning heritage from the multi-Champion Gen-XL and Xi, the new Xti (Transverse or Inline) from CRC elevates 1:12th scale racing to the next level offering new and exciting features. The Xti features true inline battery configuration with a full size 1s IFMAR/ROAR battery pack. Unlike the some of the off-center ‘longitudinal battery pack designs’ that have popped up, CRC’s true inline configuration yields total balance and symmetry. Also new on the Xti, CRC’s infinitely adjustable Slider Rear Pod. The Slider Pod is a full aluminum motor pod with infinitely adjustable rear ride height. The Xti continues with their dual damper tube design and leads the way with the best-in-class rear damper, the CRC Encore shock.

Zeppin Racing digital tweaker scale

Zeppin Racing have released this professional digital tweaker scale comprised of 1 LCD main unit and 4 separate scales. The main unit has 4 backlit LCD screens to show the measurements and settings while each scale is equipped with a high precision sensor to greatly enhance the accuracy, in 0.01oz (0.1g) increments. Measurements can be displayed in gram, oz, ozt and dwt. This scale system is designed for serious racers to measure their cars’ weight distribution easily and make necessary weight adjustment to balance their cars for the best performance. Orlowski & Okonski take Polish offroad titles

Last weekend saw the Polish 1:10 Electric Buggy championship organized by Polish Model Car Federation take place in Warsaw. The biggest off-road event in the season in Poland attracted more than 40 drivers in both 2WD and 4WD classes. The 2 days event was organized in a comfortable format for the drivers and mechanics with half a day 2WD and half a day 4WD which allowed many drivers to race in both classes.
