CRC and VBC team drivers Dave Johnson and Andrew Knapp went away with wins in their respective classes at the recent ROAR paved on-road Nationals. Andrew did the double by TQ’ing in both the 17.5T TC and 1/12th 17.5T class and also winning the latter with his CTC Gen-Xi car. In TC the pole setter ended up in third position leaving the win to VBC Wildfire team mate Dave Johnson.

Starting with the traction compound the Nano called tire softener is available in Green and Red formula and is designed to give electric and nitro tires an improved grip on slick clay surfaces. It comes pre-wired with a Sanwa-compatible plug and balancing port and sports dimensions of 95x30x12.5mm with a weight of 97g.

Team C Racing introduce the TS4TE Team Edition kit, a 4WD short course truck based on the standard TS4. The Team Edition features many option parts such as 12mm big bore shock absorbers, aluminium arm mounts, centre bulkhead carbon stiffener and anti-roll bars. The rolling chassis comes with clear lexan body shell but without tyres and becomes available soon.

The Laitse Rallypark was the host of the 2012 Baltic 1/8th buggy championship. As many races in Europe these days the race was affected by the weather, meaning a wet track on Friday, a dry track on Saturday and something in-between on Sunday. The A final saw Ron Mamers and Rainer Ressar pulling away from the rest of the field with Rainer taking the lead after a mistake of Ron. He then never looked back and was able to win the race one lap ahead of Jörg Miikael Tiit and Rob Mamers.
