Toy Fair – Team Corally

Dutch company Team Corally have a large booth at the show and are displaying, among other things, the company’s new 10X and New Generation F1. Very simple cars, the rollng chassis on both are extremely lightweight, similar to the company’s SP12X, which is also on display. The RDX Phi is also present in its carpet foam guise and is sporting thick carbon and lightweight front and rear axles. CEFX parts for Corally RDX Phi

Josh Cyrul from CEFX has announced that his company has designed and manufactured a carpet upgrade kit for the Corally RDX Phi that includes chassis, front shock tower, rear shock tower and steering extension. Prior to last years Snowbirds, CEFX made a 3mm chassis for the Phi that only the modified team drivers used on their cars, and following a lot more testing with team driver Mike Blackstock they made some updates to all these parts. Blackstock & Cyrul take Novak race wins

RC Car Action have a brief report from last weekends US Touring Car Championships, an all brushless event run by Scotty Ernst. In the foam 10.5-turn and Modified classes, it was a two man show between Mike Blackstock and Josh Cyrul. Corally’s Blackstock set the TQ in both classes with this RDX Phi and looked untouchable, but Josh Cyrul with his custom built sedan won the 10.5-turn A1 and A2 mains to take the overall win. Corally RDX Phi Chassis and ARB

Corally have released some new parts for their 190mm EP touring car, the RDX Phi, including this new 2mm carbon fibre chassis plate. It has much more flex than previous versions giving you more steering on track, less problems in warm temperatures and more grip in the corner. Also new for the Phi is a new rear 1.0 mm thick anti-roll bar which is the softest in the current range of the various anti-roll bars. Marc Fischer wins German EP Nationals

The German outdoor electric touring car Nationals were held last weekend at the fast flowing Walsum track in the North West of the country with all the top names present, gunning for the title. Qualifying saw Corally RDX Phi driver Marc Fischer claim the top spot and he went on to shine in the triple mains too, to claim the 2007 National title in front of European Champion Ronald Volker for Hot Bodies in 2nd and another Hot Bodies racer Toni Rheinard in 3rd. Corally Turnbuckle wrench & Spacers

Dutch manufacturer Corally have released some new items today, the first being this 3.2mm turnbuckle wrench shown above which does exactly what its meant to do and is suitable for the new turnbuckles we showed you back in July. The other item from Corally are these RDX Phi coupler clamp aluminium spacers that are available in two different thickness (0.5mm and 1mm) and which allow finer roll-centre tuning. Corally release lots of Phi Optionals

Corally have announced the release of number of new items for their RDX and RDX Phi 190mm touring cars. First up for the Phi are 4 new bulkheads which feature an all new lighweight design that incorporates a lower center of gravity while the design features a milled down surface to allow the use of an extra secure mounting of the newly improved clamps. Those new clamps feature countersunk screw holes to allow the use of an extra screw for fastening the couplers much tighter, to avoid dislocation during impact.
