Eldridge wins English round of Much-More UK GP

The English round of the 2011 Much-More UK GP took place last weekend under superb sunny weather conditions with the track temperature reaching 50deg C. After his 2nd place overall at the last round of the very wet UK BRCA National at Halifax, it was TOP Photon driver, Brian Eldridge who convincingly sealed the overall win taking all 3 legs of the A Main and confirming his capability driving in very dry conditions against some strong local track specialists. Moore & Anderson win BRCA TC nationals Rd3

For the second round in succession the BRCA national touring car championship was dominated by bad weather, but coming through the extreme conditions was the Hot Bodies duo of Andy Moore and Ayrton Anderson. In the Super Touring class it was the Associated TC6 of Johnny Aird that took TQ, his first at national level, second place was Andy Moore with Matt White third. Felix Law wins FT Cup in China

Last weekend in Guangzhou, China, IN-hobby & a local track hosted a 1/10 nitro & 1/10 electric touring car race called the FT Cup. Hot Bodies driver Felix Law from the United States, dominated the Electric side of the event. Driving the HB TCX he was able to use the 1st round of qualifying to dominate the competition running a 16 laps in 5 minutes & 3 seconds. HPI China sign JJ Wang

HPI China have also announced the signing of JJ Wang to their Racing Team. The 13 year old Chinese-American, who now lives in Shanghai, China has become the best 1:8 GP on-road driver in the country. His versatile talent is not limited to 1:8 GP only, as he has also shown pace in the 1:10 GP and EP class. Marc Rheinard wins Reedy Race of Champions

…their worst (highest) 2 scores. This year the weather did not cooperate with the four rounds of heats per day. On day one, the rain delayed a few heats and then washed out round 4 leaving day two for 5 rounds of competition instead of the normal four. Team Thunder Power RC’s newest signing Marc Rheinard, driving a Tamiya TRF417 battled his way to the Championship title, while his Thunder Power RC team mate Victor Wilck kept the pressure on to finish 2nd.
