1:28 specialist manufacturer RC Atomic has released this Center Damper Mount for use on its MRX Master pan car kit when running 24mm batteries. This centre damper mount is for big block (24mm wide) battery in horizontal configuration with the set coming with longer plastic ball cap and all hardware required. The MRX ‘Master Edition’ chassis kit is based on the double PNWC 2024 title winning chassis from the Hong Kong manufacturer.
Aerox, Schumacher’s accessories brand, has introduced new direct mount brushless servos for the British manufacturer’s Mi9 and FT9 1:10 Touring Cars. The new LP2s version see’s improvements in having a 4 pole Brushless Motor, a super low profile at 23mm, 3mm shorter than the LP1s and now weighs only 47-grams. It also features a titanium output shaft with 50% hardness and toughness increase. The output wire is now from the bottom of the case, making the receiver placement easier. Now compatible with the high-speed mode of major radios and the i-BUS2 protocol of FlySky Radio, remote setup parameters are now possible and it can sense the temperature data on the FlySky NB4+ Pro Radio. Direct mounting servo’s can give a cleaner look and reduce weight. Boasting a full metal case, brushless motor, titanium and steel gears the servo is perfectly specced for the speed and torque requirements of modern touring cars. The LP2s is also available with a longer 180mm wire for the front wheel drive FT9.
Capricorn has announced that nitro onroad racing stalwart Andrea Pirani is to represent the Italian manufacturer for the 2025 and 2026 season. The Italian racer, who runs RC retailer and option parts producer Pirani RC, previously raced with Mugen Seiki but returns to Capricorn. A multiple Italian National Champion and European Championship podium finisher, his program will consist of Trophy races as well as taking part in the second of the 2 round AMSCI 1:8 Italian National Championship at Mini Autodromo Fiorano in September.

Adding to their new Pro Tools Series for Setup, OfficinaRC has now released a Droop Gauge. The ultimate tool for measuring droop on 1:10 electric touring cars, it is machined from high-quality CNC aluminium and features a compact circular design. This integrates two Pro Droop Wheels. which are securely housed inside and inserted from the bottom via a threaded mounting system which means no wheel nuts are required – it is held in place with an internal O-ring. With a precision scale in 0.2 mm increments, from 21.0 mm to 24.8 mm, for ultra-fine measurements, the droop guage measures directly at wheel center, eliminating tolerance from arms, hubs, and other components.
The third round of the popular Speed King Tour 2025 was held at TM Circuit Wakayama in Wakayama prefecture of Japan where Infinity driver Ryosuke Yamamoto took the TQ and win. Race day was sunny day like a mid summer and competitors showed their skills of driving and making good car setup. In the TC0 class (Modified), Yamamoto’s consistency was brilliant and he never gave his rivals an opportunit to challenge either in qualifying or the finals. It would be Kazunari Tomita who claimed second place with his Tamiya TRF421 while from 4th on thw starting grid Takara Sano completed the podium.
1:28 and Mini-Z specialists Reflex Racing is finally ready to release their first 1:28 Formula Car Kit, the FX28. After almost 2 years of conceptualisation and development, the FX28 is a comprehensive new design from the ground up and not just a lengthened 1:28 scale car. From concept to final product, the Texas based company had three goals – Simplicity, Low Center of Gravity, and Super Narrow Weight Distribution. In terms of simplicity the FX28 uses a 2 piece front end that is super tough for the demands of open wheel racing. The car comes with 2 Degrees of Caster built into the front end as well as 1 degree knuckles, which provide tons of steering and corner speed. Additionally the kit comes with a high quality servo saver which is essential for open wheel racing. On LCG, Reflex Racing has used steel and aluminium all throughout the lowest part of the car to keep the weight as low as possible. In relation to super narrow weight distribution, with a dampened rotary hinge rear suspension and low CG Disc Damper they are able to package everything inside the body without having to compromise the design, keeping the look of the car within 97%+ fidelity to full scale Formula cars. The high performance Lexan body and molded nylon wings are based on modern day Formula cars and were developed in cooperation with Radbody. World Champion Toni Gruber has just released his own premium Forged Carbon Setup Boards under his Gruber Racing brand. Available in 1:10 and 1:8 sizes, the boards can be purchased just as a board or with the options of a transport bag and adjustable feet. The adjustable feet which come with a spirit level and can be easily mounted on the backside of the set-up board via a magnetic system. Each of the premium boards come with customers name milled into forged carbon.
