P1 Brand Maximum Fast tee

Introducing another new design from the P1 Brand Trackwares line, the Maximum Fast tee. This stylish and fun graphic pays homage to those Japanese drivers who understand that obtaining ‘maximum fast’ lap times requires ‘huge speed’. On the back of the shirt, the P1 Brand logo is printed between the shoulder blades and a woven P1 Brand label on the outside, lower hem, completes the design. Designed and screen printed in the USA using 100% preshrunk, 5.5oz. ringspun cotton. Available in sizes Medium-3XLarge.

JQ parts, clutch bells, sway bars & options

JQ Products have released a number of new parts, sway bars, clutch bells and options for THE Car. Firstly there is all new stronger plastics which include new wishbones front and rear, C-hubs and ball joints. JQ have also released a new line of clutch bells in 13T, 14T, 15T & 16T versions to allow you to fine tune your clutch to all conditions. Next up is a new smooth gearing set that was tested in various race conditions by their team drivers, which makes the car more consistent and easier to drive. Other new parts include a pair of lightweight servo saver posts and a range of sway bars in 2,6mm front and 2.6mm, 2.7mm, 2.9mm & 3.0mm rear versions.

Branson dominates BRCA nats with MeccaFuel

French fuel company Meccamo have been in touch to tell us that their sponsored driver Kyle Branson has dominated this year’s BRCA 1/8th scale Nationals using MeccaFuel. The factory Sirio driver TQ’d 8 of the 9 rounds this year and won 7 on his way to clinching the title with one round to spare. Kyle only stepped up to the 1/8th class this season having dominated the 1/10th 200mm National series for the past few years.

As the name suggests, this electric brushless powered 1/8th scale buggy features correctly balanced and optimized weight distribution and comes pre assembled as a race roller. Some of the features include CNC machined hard coated Spiral cut gears, 16mm big bore oil-filled aluminium threaded shocks, two piece motor mount for fast motor maintenance and new innovative battery tray design 3S or 4S or 6S LiPo capability.

Capricorn sign Flavio Elias to their Factory team

Capricorn has announced that they have signed Favio Elias to their factory team for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Flavio Elias is eight times Brazilian 1/8 Champion and will now as a official Capricorn pilot represent Brazil in international competitions such as the next worlds in Japan. Flavinho, who already was one of the stand out drivers at the last Worlds in Miami, was Brazilian champion in 2010 and 2011 already running the Capricorn chassis.

S-Workz S350 BK1 2012 version

S-Workz have announced that their S350 BK1 2012 version is now available. Based on the original car, the new kit now comes with the 4mm longer chassis and also 3mm longer chassis brace. This will give the new BK1 more steering and make it more stable. The 2012 kits will also include a new fuel tank cap system which features a double o-ring for more pressure for your engine system. The new chassis plate and brace can also be bought as a set to upgrade your current buggy.

KO Propo BSx Standard servo

KO Propo have introduced their new BSx Standard servo at the recent Tokyo Hobby show. Expected to be released in February it features a brushless motor, full aluminium machined gears which are matched for smooth movement, dual ball bearing on the output gear, hard gear shafts and a machine cut aluminium middle case. Ideal for steering servo in all cars up to 1/8th buggy, it outputs 20Kg/cm of torque at 7.4V and 15Kg/cm at 6.0V. The Speed is 0.06 sec/60° at 7.4V and 0.07 sec/60° at 6.0V.
