Keven Hébert dominated the 1/12 Open class at the 2010 ROAR On-Road Nationals hosted by Norcal Hobbies in Union City, CA. By scoring maximum points in three out of four qualifying rounds, Keven secured the pole position for the triple A-Main event. Teammates Rick Hohwart and Bob Stellflue rounded out the top three positions on the grid. The main event was dominated by Hébert. Although Hohwart put up a fight, Hébert easily won the first two legs to secure his first ROAR Nationals title. With the championship decided, the third leg was won by Hohwart, who secured the second position overall. Stellflue claimed the last step on the podium to make it a 1-2-3 Associated/Reedy/LRP sweep.

Team Associated have released these Factory Team 2WD off road rear ballast weight which fits the SC10 FT, B4.1 FT, T4.1 FT and SC10 2.4 GHz RTR. This 17 gram Zinc alloy cast weight helps give more rearward weight bias and mates with the #7487 arm mount for a completely captured fit with the chassis. Weight and mounts retrofit B4, T4, SC10 kits.

The Vortex Digital servo also features coreless motors and lightened titanium gears and in standard size comes in 4 different versions, the VDS 1106 (11kg/0.06s), VDS 1308 (13kg/0.08s), VDS 1712 (17kg/0.12s) and the VDS 2315 (23kg/0.15s) and also in a low profile version, the VDS 1009 (10kg/0.09s). At the recent 5th round of the JBRL Nitro series in the US last weekend, custom specialists Upgrade RC spotted some all new tires from Pro-Line. The Sniper is a mini pin design with an alternating central row of large pins, which makes them great on hard-packed clay, including blue groove. We are sure Pro-Line will release more details of these new tires in the near future.
