Alex Hardt switches to Novarossi

Reigning German Junior Champion Alex Hardt has made the switch to Novarossi for the upcoming season. German Novarossi distributor, Shepherd Micro Racing, will be supporting this young talented driver with the latest Novarossi off-road engines. Alex will race all important national races as well as some selected international events like the European Championship A, the Neo11 Race and the International Warm-up in Bischofsheim. His goals are well defined:

I would like to defend the German Junior Champion title and achieve a top result at all races that I attend. I choose Novarossi engines because the performance is outstanding. After a few test it was clear that I can achieve my goals for the 2011 season with these premium engines. Shepherd Micro Racing supports me in the best way possible and I’m looking forward to working together with them closely.

ETS Rd4 participants to collect Hudy 3.0mm Allen wrench

With the fourth round of the Yokomo Euro Touring Series taking place this weekend in Poland, event sponsor Hudy have been in touch to remind entrants that they can once again collect their free Limited edition tool, which this week will be a 3.0mm Allen wrench. Speed Power 6500mAh & 6200mAh 65C packs

Speed Power have introduced two new LiPo packs, the first is this 6500mAh 7.4v battery with a 65C rating, while the 2nd is a similar 6200mAh pack with a 65C rating. This stick pack configuration features the now obligatory hard casing for impact protection, with both batteries featuring bullet connectors.

1:8 Offroad Nationals Warm-up race

The guys at Thunder Alley RC Raceway were in touch to remind everyone about the 1:8 Offroad Nationals Warm-up race that will take place from the 1st to the 3rd of April. The event has already attracted much interest with former World Champion Atsushi Hara signing up as well as Teemu Leino, Ari Heinonen from Finland along with Ty Tessman from Canada who will be joining the usual gaggle of top drivers from California, neighboring states and beyond. JConcepts Rulux wheel for SC10 & XXX-SCT

By popular demand JConcepts is bringing the Rulux 12mm hex design to the SC10, SC10 4×4, XXX-SCT and similar wheel offset applications. Rulux wheels are 1:1 inspired and no detail has been missed with these beauties as the Rulux wheel incorporates a lug nut and spoke affect that emulates the real thing. Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance. To use the 12mm hex wheel on the SC10 or XXX-SCT it requires an inboard hub conversion for the front and JConcepts new hex adapter at the rear. Precision machined and blue anodised aluminium features a clamping style design that combines durability and functionality.

DE Racing has released a new ‘Trinidad’ wheel for the Team Losi Ten SCTE 4wd short course truck. These wheels include all the same features of our ‘Trinidad’ line with a bolt on OEM fit and are currently available in black, but will be released in silver and white very soon.
