Yokomo tease YZ-4SF2 4WD buggy

Yokomo’s Shin Adachi has released a first image of the company’s forthcoming new YZ-4SF2 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. Expected to consist of 80 percent of new or redesigned parts, the buggy will see some major updates but for now, only the above “body on” image is available. We bring you more details as they surface.

ETS, EOS & ENS announce revised 2020 schedules

With the Corona virus situation impacting racing around the world, many planned events have had to be cancelled or postponed. After carefully monitoring the situation throughout Europe, and talking to host venues and government officials in various countries, the organisers of the ETS, EOS and ENS championships have been able to put together a revised schedule of races for the rest of 2020. Of course, these still do remain provisional as the rules and restrictions change on a regular basis and any further updates will be communicated to racers closer to each event date.

Kyosho Ultima 2WD rear tuning spring set

Kyosho have announced the soon release of a new tuning rear shock spring set for the Ultima 2WD vintage re-release buggy. The set includes colour-coded MM medium and MH hard springs that allow to adjust overall suspension hardness to the existing track conditions. The springs fit the Ultima 2WD and also the Optima and Turbo Optima 4WD buggies.

Sweep Racing Indigo 1/10th buggy closed cell inserts

Coming from Sweep Racing are their new Indigo closed cell inserts for 1/10th scale buggy tyres. Utilising a new foam, that was optimised for hardness, the inserts improve consistency while their shape ensures the correct fit within the tyre for further optimised performance. The Indigo inserts are available 2WD front, 4WD front and 2WD/4WD rear tyres from now on.

Element RC Trailrunner RTR truck

Associated Electrics have introduced the new Enduro Trailrunner ready-to-run trail truck. The Trailrunner comes equipped with a high-strength polycarbonate body that has been pre-painted to look fresh from the dealer showroom. The Trailrunner body was designed for looks, function and customisation featuring a two-piece design with removable front lower valance, injection-moulded fender flares, B-pillar appliques, door handles, windshield wipers, mirrors, and front grill installed right out of the box. The looks don’t stop there. Also included are injection-moulded roof rack, three-piece front bumper with D-rings, snorkel, and accessory decal sheet. Gripping the trail is a set of officially licensed General Grabber A/T X tires moulded in a high-performance, soft compound rubber. The General Grabber A/T X tires are mounted on three-piece 1.55” beadlock wheels. No more worrying if your RTR tires will come unglued.

Samix SCX10 III adjustable weight brass diff cover

Coming from Samix and made for the Axial SCX10 III trail truck is a new adjustable weight brass differential cover. The lid is machined from heavy brass material and replaces the original item, adding strength and weight if desired. The cover weighs in at 47g, however by using an additional C-shaped weight, another 5g can be added to further up overall weight and thus traction. The cover fits with the front and rear axle housings and it is available from now on.

Tyler Jones TQs & wins at Saturday Series Rd1

The Jax Trax RC Raceway of Union City, Indiana held round 1 of their Saturday Series this past weekend, attracting nearly 90 entries for the 1/8th off-road and 1/10th Pro4 classes. In the premier Nitro Buggy class it was Agama’s Tyler Jones with the overall TQ and the young man would also come out swinging after the 20-minute A-main event as he lead from tone to tone to take the win from Mugen’s Collin Weatherholt in 2nd and Tekno RC’s Brandon Hogan in 3rd.
