Nitrosisters have released this 235mm conversion kit for the Xray X10 200mm chassis. RPM SC10 front shock tower

The goals for the new RPM front shock tower for the Associated SC10, T4 & GT2 were to improve strength and durability, improve crash survivability and help reduce damage to other vital components. The T-shaped structure of the front shock tower provides some serious strength and rigidity while the top-secret blend of materials we use provides unmatched durability. Although the SC10, T4 & GT2 each have different requirements of the front shock tower, the RPM version integrates all those needs for unmatched support of the shocks on all three trucks while the redesigned front bumper mount base for the SC10 has been strengthened to sustain repeated impacts from the stock front bumper. All this performance and durability is wrapped up in a part that weighs slightly less than the stock piece it replaces.

CRC 2011 LiPo pack line-up

CRC 2011 LiPo pack line-up

Calandra Racing Concepts has been very busy in the lab brewing up some powerful LiPo packs for 2011. All the batteries are specially built to their high standards of performance and durability. They mold their own cases, layup the lithium polymer chemical and assemble the cells to produce race winning packs that out perform all others, on the track and on the test machines. Unlike the many sticker manufactures that simply re-label some off the shelf LiPo cell, they make performance batteries, not just decals. The new line-up includes a 6300mAh 50C 3.7V 1S pack, a 5600mAh 65C 3.7V 1S pack, a 5600mAh 65C 7.4V 2S pack and finally a low price 6100mAh 55C pack which is pre wired with deans connector. All packs are ROAR approved.

Ryan Lutz commits to Durango until 2021

Ryan Lutz commits to Durango until 2021

Team Durango have informed us that US racer Ryan Lutz, the man who was setting some of the fastest laps at last November’s World Championships, has signed a 10 year deal with the company.

I am extremely excited today to have forged a long term contract with Team Durango. Originally we agreed, in principle, to work together until the end of the 2010 season and we would talk longer term come December. Another thing this offered was the chance to really test the DNX408 and get to know the company before making any decisions. This is why I am so excited to have signed a 10 year contract with Team Durango. In the past three months I have gotten to see how this company operates, and the pride that they take in making top-of-the-line racing vehicles. Their slogan is, “Serious about Racing” and I have never witnessed a company take this more to heart. That is why I am confident that the next 10 years will be wrought with success for both parties involved and why I am proud to put my name alongside Team Durango. In the next 10 years I will do everything I can to help Team Durango make the best R/C cars on the planet, and help make sure their customers are as satisfied as possible with the products they are buying! All-in-all with this deal of a decade in hand I’m ready to get started winning and performing at my best for this company that has put a lot of faith in me! I’m really looking forward to it!
