We have featured some pretty cool things from RCID Custom and Upgrade RC before and they all did a great job of making your stuff stand out and be unique, but this latest product from RCID really takes personalisation to the another level. If you have run out of things to put your mark on, then you have to get these transponder decals that are designed to fit onto your AMB personal transponder. You can choose from a number of designs and different options and of course you specify your unique AMB ID number to have it printed on it too. No longer will you have your transponder hidden away in some obscure place on your car.
Paul LeMieux has done it again taking the win in both the 19T and Mod classes driving his Xray T2007. Having started from pole in both races he easily won the event by taking the first place in both his first 2 19T and mod finals to win the event without having to take part in the 3rd round of finals. In stock class it was Andrew Ellis that took the win also driving an Xray. More results to follow.
After qualifying at this weekends Novak US Touring Car Championships in Wisconsin it is Xray racer Paul LeMieux that is in dominant form, taking TQ spot in both the blue ribboned Modified class as well as the 19T class. Paul is in good company with Josh Cyrul and Barry Baker sharing a 2nd and a 3rd each in both classes in what looks to be a very close run race. First finals are taking place already, with Paul taking a win in his first round final, but because of time differences we wont be able to publish the final race results until Monday morning CET. We will keep you posted.

A lot of people have been worried that the upcoming RC8 buggy from Team Associated, that was officially announced last week, would be basically a copy of new owner Thunder Tigers current offering. Well according to a statement from Torrance Deguzman, who works with Associateds R&D team, the car will bear no resemblance to the TT buggy but will use its differentials in order to save costs as well as some minor linkage parts but that the rest of the buggy is completely new.
We mentioned yesterday that EFRA was considering moving the date of this years 1/8th scale Buggy European A Championships following a clash with the Tour de France. More products from Speed Mind, this time it is this carbon cloth effect transmitter carry bag. Available to suit most of the main brands of transmitter this case sports a foam insert that is cut out to hold the transmitter snuggly in place and protects it from bumps and bangs and there is also enough space for crystals and a spare receiver etc. The best thing about this bag though is the carbon effect finish on the outside, it looks really cool. The case comes with both a handle and a shoulder strap too.
UPDATE: It turns out that this product is actually quite old, but if you hadnt seen it before its new :)

Italian site RC Bazar have a nice article (in Italian) of the Team Orion Wasp Rev .12 with lots of pictures. This is the first time i have seen inside this engine and if you havent seen it yourself it will make for interesting viewing. As many know this engine by CRF for Team Orion is a very unconventional motor that features many patent pending technologies so its nice to see it up close.
