IDM Engines have announced that they have signed former Italian Off road National Champion Samuele Lenzi. The double national champion and 2 time European Championship podium finisher will use the Picco based engines from the Italian brand to power his Kyosho Inferno MP9 chassis.

Capricorn RC have released their new 1/10th scale exhaust system. EFRA homologated (#2648), it has been designed to work with the new ruling that requires the use of an INS box on .12 engines. Available for sale from the 7th of January.

Caster Racing USA announced today the signing of multiple time 1/18th scale champion, Tim Mohr, to their factory team for 2009. Mohr will be racing the new Caster Fusion EX-1R Factory Team buggy at the 2009 RC Pro Series, along with selected other events. Tim of St. Louis Missouri, jumped into the public eye by winning many titles in 1/18th scale classes, including the 2008 q/18th Dirt 4wd and 2wd Pro titles and the 2007 RC Pro Series q/18th Scale title, among others. He was also an early proponent of brushless motors and lithium batteries for use in rc car racing and said the following:

Rymart Racing have been in contact to tell us about new products from Ghea and Rogue element. From Ghea is this brass front bulkhead and delrin front brace kit. Adding 23g of weight to the front end of your B4 in the most effective manner, testing has found this to be the ideal amount. New from Factory team are these 1/8th scale muffler and header. Perfect for your RC8, SC8 and RC8T this 3-chamber muffler provides the best combination of bottom end punch and top end performance. Hard anodised they are EFRA Homologated (#2035). Also new from FT, for the RC8T are a pair of narrow aluminium wheel hexes. Recommended for use in both the front and rear of your RC8T and RC8T RS, they reduce your overall width by 9.0mm, yielding quicker steering response and more speed through the corners. Finally for the RC8T are front and rear chassis braces, made from aluminium, which both help stiffen the chassis in bending and torsion.
