Neo Buggy are reporting that 1/8 off road European front runner Nico Rodriguez has left GS for SVM Crono. Nico who previously placed on the podium at the 2005 Europeans in France will drive the RS03 buggy with JP motors for the 2007 season.
Dynamite have release their 2007 lineup of nitro engines. Called the Platinum series these off road motors are available in .21, .28 and .28 pullstart.

Top Singaporean driver, and all round nice guy, Sam Cheng has taken top honours at the Singapore Open Championships driving his Xray XB8 ahead of team mate Glenn Phuah with young driver Ah M in third. Xray are reporting on their win in the 19T Stock class at the Team Orion Speed Weekend last weekend in Germany. The stock class was TQ’d and won by Bastian Henning driving his Xray T2 and they managed to get 5 cars in the final whilst in Modified they got 2 Xray T2007 cars in the final with Jilles Groskamp just missing out on the win and Martin Hudy finishing in 8th.
Although Jilles had bad luck in the first final, he showed his driving skills and car performance in the second final charging hard to take 2nd in the second final behind Marc Rheinard (securing the overall event win for Marc) and winning the third final by 2 seconds after fighting to pass Simo Ahoniemi.
Japanese site Kimihiko-Yano is reporting that World Champion Billy Easton has signed up to Team Brood Racing, supplier of Motors, Batteries and other accessories. If true this will be a major coupe for the company having just this year signed other top racers Mike Dumas, Travis Amezcua and Alex Lopez.
