K Factory E4 ZF Front Belt

K-Factory have released this range of optional ZF belts for the Team Magic E4 EP powered chassis. Available in 3mm for the front and side, the rear is 3.5mm thick and all belts have been made using a unique method of construction for the belt texture & a special material to form the teeth. Therefore, the belt won’t break easily & the teeth are more durable. In addition, to make the belts extra flexible, the belts surface also gone through a special treatment process which ensures a highly efficient transmission.

A must for all serious racers, using this wire is a simple way to reduce resistance in your EP vehicle’s electrical connections. Available in red and black, its flexible insulation makes SSW perfect for use in ancillary devices such as Schottky diode clusters, fans, LiPo receiver packs etc. Ideal for small load applications where mass needs to be kept at a minimum, and for battery to ESC connections and ESC to motor connections in 1/18th or other mini sized vehicles.

South Korean custom RC design company Craft RC have announced that their range of 12 different skins will be available for the Futaba 3PM transmitter. As per the previous versions these too are made from top quality material that are easy to apply and which stay good for a long time.

1/8th scale Buggy Europeans – Live

European 1/8th scale Buggy Champs - Live

The best 1/8th scale buggy drivers in Europe are converging on the Greek island of Crete this week to battle it out on the fast and tricky IMC Club track in Iraklio and see who will become the 2008 European Champion. Robert Batlle will be of course be there to defend his crown, won last year in France, and he is up against some strong competition with the top factory teams pulling out all the stops to try and wrestle the title away from the Spanish Hobao driver. Red RC reporter Oisin O’Briain will be present all week reporting live trackside, bringing you our usual blend of quality reporting, photographs and interviews from this exciting event. Baring any last minute hiccups, the reporting will begin Tuesday afternoon and carry through to Saturday’s main final. Much More Large Jack Connectors

Similar to the products released last week, Much More have released more versions of their new series of connectors with traditional straight laminates, which offer up to 30% improved efficiency. These gold plated connectors have a large contact surface and can therefore carry the high currents required by today’s powerful brushless motors, while the heavy duty battery soldering tags minimize voltage losses. Sold as separate male and female connectors, as well as a complete set they are available in 4mm with hex female connectors, 4mm with an additional wire hole and hex female connectors and 4mm diameter versions with an additional wire holes in both the male and female.

Seen at last weekend’s Euro Touring Series finale in Andernach, Germany, Speed Passion gave us a first look at some of their new upcoming products. The most interesting of which was the new range of LiPo packs which will be released soon, beginning with 2 different configurations, a 25C 4000MAh hard cased racing pack and a stick pack shaped 20C 4000MAh pack, which retains it round edges to enable it to fit into standard stick pack mounts.
