K-Factory have released this middle mount for the Team Magic E4, which has been precision milled from high tensile strength 7075 aluminium and polished to a chrome finish. Helping to reduce flex in the chassis, this strong yet lightweight part also comes with a built-in antenna rod mount.

Team Magic have released new, deepened 43T & 13T spiral gears, which are used with the front and rear differentials on the M8 & M1B. Machined on a precision gear machine, every gear is also individually tested and inspected to meet the tightest tolerance requirements. The pitch angle of the gears has moved to 15 degrees to improve power delivery and reduce friction and the new gears also go through a new hardening process to make sure their more reliable than previous versions.

Team Titan have released a number of new items, including this handy tool bag and a new body shell reamer. Sold as a separate product, or including a set of 19 tools, the nylon tool bag is similar to offerings from other companies with the tools held in place using cloth elastic bands. The blue bag sports the Team Titan logo printed on the outside and is supplied with a padded handle for ease of transport. Also new from Team Titan is a body shell reamer, which has been made with heat treated high carbon steel and which is supplied with an aluminium cap to protect the tool tip, and its user.

New from CSO High Performance Parts is this high quality 7075 T6 hardened aluminium pulley set for the Xray NT1. The pulleys are not only more durable but also claim to improve the efficiency of the drive train providing faster acceleration, while resisting dirt build-up which prevents the belts from skipping. Our site sponsors Team Orion were delighted to inform us that Adrien Bertin has brought them yet another victory, this time at the 2008 Kyosho Masters, held in France last weekend. From 5th on the grid, Adrien went to 4th at the start and methodically moved through the field, taking advantage of his Team Orion CRF .21 powered Kyosho 777, which was also equipped with the new AKA tires for this event. After 15 minutes it was shaping up to be a three horse race between Daniel Reckward, Julien Lattanzio and Adrien Bertin and for 15 more minutes these three swapped the lead several times, never more than 8 seconds apart on the 35 second a lap track. With 10 minutes to go it was down to Reckward and Bertin, swapping the lead on pit stops as well as on the track. With two minutes to go the pair were nose to tail around the track and going onto the final lap, Adrien made the final pass for the lead at the end of the straight and he held on through bumpy conditions to take the win. Along with the performance of his Team Orion CRF Engine, Adrien was able to run on this multi-surface blue-groove track with the same set of tires in the last round of qualifying and also for the entire 45 minutes main event.

Losi have announced the July release of this simple and affordable Micro Vehicle electronics upgrade. The 27MHz AM Receiver/ 3 Wire Servo Combo is what you need to complete the conversion to the Losi Xcelorin brushless system, as the conversion to a brushless system requires the use of a standard three wire receiver and servo in order to be compatible with the Xcelorin ESC. The 27MHz AM Receiver is compatible with the stock Micro Vehicle 27mhz AM transmitter, which eliminates the need to purchase a new transmitter.

Last weekend the JP Raceway in the Philippines played host to the Masaaki Hirosaka sponsored Philippine Invitational Touring Car Championship. Mr. Hirosaka’s sponsored driver Nicholas Lee from Singapore dominated the Open Modified Class using his Kyosho Stallion, taking TQ in all 4 rounds of qualifying and won all 3 legs of the final. In the 3rd leg he was pushed very hard by local Serpent racer Ralph Lorenzo and his performance was rewarded with 2nd overall in class, finishing in front of Hot Bodies driver Raffy Abello who claimed 3rd overall. The 23 Turn Open Stock class was dominated by Hot Bodies driver Jerome Supan, who won from Josh Castro who took 2nd, with Tamiya racer Joseph Salcedo claiming 3rd.
