BTech RC Titanium NT1 Axles

BTech RC Titanium NT1 Axles

New from French company BTech RC are these lightweight titanium shafts for the Xray NT1 1/10th scale 200mm chassis. Available as replacements for both the 2-speed gearbox and middle pulley shafts, the new material helps reduce not only overall weight but also rotating mass. A neat feature is that the end of the shaft, where the clip goes, has been machined with a slightly smaller diameter to prevent the bearing sticking when removing the shaft.

New Ninja engines made by O.S.

New Ninja engines made by O.S.

Following on from the announcement by GRP that they would stop producing engines for the Mugen owned Ninja brand, comes the first pictures of the new OS made Ninja motors. According to our site partners Neo Buggy, “the engine, OEM manufactured by OS engines for Ninja, is loosely based on their V-Spec with some custom features: the crankcase is from the OS 28XZ engine and does not feature the distinctive OS ‘black’ coating, the sleeve port design is a bit different from the V-Spec, head design, the crankshaft appears to have the same ‘DLC’ coating as the OS Speed V-spec but without counterweights. All in all a mix up of a few OS engines and Ninja branding.”

Roman Miller – Interview

Roman Miller - Interview

RB Products in the US have a nice interview with their young up and coming team driver Roman Miller. The Mugen racer have only been driving 4 years and is already impressing many with his ability, recently taking his place in the Expert class.

Being with RB this year has helped me improve at every race we attended. At first it was a rough start, my dad had some trouble getting used to the engine, tuning and working on them etc…but with the help of Kevin and Bernard, we were able to get the enignes running pretty well. The consistancy of the engine at all the races we attended made it one less thing for us to worry about throught the year. Me and my dad are very pleased with the support RB has given us both during the year and are looking forward to another great season with RB.
