Juho Levanen joins Much More

Juho Levanen joins Much More

Korean electric accessories manufacturer, Much More, have confirmed that they have signed up top Team Associated driver Juho Levanen from Finland. Levanen, who will now use Much More products, has dominated this years Fintrack series as well as winning the LRP Masters in April while the highlight of his racing career so far must definitely be his back to back European 1/10th scale Touring car titles in 2002 and 2003.

OFNA JLR 1/10 On-Road Starter Box

OFNA have introduced this new ultra-compact starter box for 1/10 belt-driven nitro touring cars with transverse mounted engines. The starter box is lightweight and compact for easier storage and transporting and it’s powered by a single 750 size motor and one or two 7.2 volt stick packs. Use one battery to keep it as light as possible, or hook up a second battery to double the capacity. The starter box has an adjustable starter wheel and starting platform to accommodate most 1/10 touring cars on the market.

Protoform have finally released photos of their new high downforce 200mm DNA³ body shell, a body style previously only available for 190mm electric cars. In spite of numerous modifications to optimize the body for nitro sedan racing, the signature DNA style remains, from its bold front splitter to its large real wing there’s no doubt that this is a serious racing body design. Made to fit all 200mm nitro sedan chassis, the body and its supplied wing meet all ROAR and IFMAR rule requirements. Supplied with a protective film, wing mounting hardware, decals and window masks, the DNA³ is formed in genuine Lexan to provide durability for this ultra-fast racing class.

Serpent 31mm Centax-3 flywheel

More products from Serpent, this time its this new smaller diameter Centax 3 flywheel for use on the Serpent 720. This new flywheel is now 31mm in diameter, compared to 33mm from the original version and because of this smaller size you can use the LCG engine mount combined with the LCG chassis without risking the flywheel hitting the track surface. Apart from the diameter changes the flywheel is still the same lightweight, high quality, item that is included as standard in the kit.

RB products have released this limited edition 3.5cc buggy engine, called simply ‘The Seven’. Limited to only 300 pieces its based on the S7 and features a turbo glow-plug, limited edition engraved cooling head and comes with a numbered aluminium anniversary plate in an exclusive gold packaging. Created to celebrate 10 years since RB engines won their first major title at the European Championship in 1997, the S7 motor was chosen as it has also been 10 years that this engine has been in the RB Concept engine range. Southport Nationals report by oOple

The fifth round of the BRCA electric buggy Nationals was held last weekend on the multi surfaced Southport track, in the Northwest of England. The 2wd class racers on Saturday had some light rain to contend with, while Sundays 4wd event was run under sunny and dry conditions. The 2wd class saw Losi driver Darren Bloomfield once again take the win having qualified 2nd behind recently crowned European Champion Neil Cragg, while in 4wd it was local racer Richard Taylor that took the TQ and the win, while Lee Martin wrapped up the 2007 title with a 4th position.

Serpent have introduced these new cool looking set-up blocks for allowing you to measure and adjust your circuit cars droop. Meant for use with their recently introduced ride height & droop gauge, they are made from aluminium and anodised orange, raising your car by 10mm. Sold in a set of two, for the front and rear of your car, they come with the Serpent logo engraved on 2 of the blocks 3 sides, leaving you one side to place your own name.
