Exotek 22X Locked Spur Mount Set with Titanium Shaft

California based Exotek Racing has released their Locked Spur Mount Set with Titanium Shaft for the TLR 22X 1:10 2WD Buggy. This super light alloy locked spur mount with titanium centre bolt results in the lightest spur locker yet. Excellent for stock buggy and oval racing, the mount and hardwares totals just 5.2 grams. Attaches right to the stock top shaft and allows for easy switching between a locked spur or slipper as track conditions warrant. Uses a wider range of available spur gear sizes by Exotek and Kimbrough.

Destiny DTY-12S 1:12

Destiny, the electric onroad brand of Roche RC, has released their new 1:12 chassis, the DTY-12S. The new car features a newly designed narrower 2.0mm 7075 aluminium main chassis to improved cornering speed. It also gets a new design graphite front lower arm with the wheelbase (+/-2.0mm) changeable by changing the direction of aluminium blocks. Also new are 7075 hardened aluminium lightweight 4 deg kingpins. There is also new single piece steering knuckle with pre-built POM insert and polished front wheel axle while a new design graphite stiff front brace is intended for high traction tracks. Other new features include a new graphite chassis side brace and t-brace for chassis reflex adjustment plus a new design floating pod link brace. Pod link position forward/rearward is changeable for roll center adjustment. The DTY-12S comes with a 12 thread holes carbon rear solid axle and fits most spur gears from different brand. As with the Destiny DTY10 Touring Car, the 1:12 gets purple anodising of the 7075 aluminium parts that include the front suspension blocks, servo mounts, steering turnbuckles, motor mount, left bulkhead, center pivot block, rear solid axle and wheel hubs.

Ielasi Tuned ‘Corsa’ .12 engine

Italian engine tuner Ielasi Tuned has announced the third & final of their new 2025 engines, the ‘Corsa’ .12 engine. Compared to the previous model, this engine is based on the new O.S. T1205 engine incorporating all of Ielasi Tuned’s technical philosophy which are successfully carried forward after years with the GP3 engine. A new top needle for even more precise carburetion and a new crankshaft timing are key features of the evolution of the ‘Corsa’ engine.

Volker wins 2025 German National title

Mugen Seiki’s Ronald Volker is the 2025 DMC German National Champion for 1:10 Electric Touring Car, this year’s event counting for driver selection for next year’s ISTC World Championships in Foshan, China. With 5 rounds of qualifying at the EMC Marktoberdorf hosted championships, it was Volker he would be the Top Qualifier as he took his LRP powered MTC3 to the top of the times in opening two rounds. Topping the fourth round, Yokomo’s Christoper Krapp lined up P2 ahead of Serpent’s Dominic Greiner with the Awesomatix of Simon Lauter, who was fastest in Q3, securing P4. In the finals Volker took the opening encounter by half a second from Greiner who found his way past Krapp. In A2, Volker again took the win, the Top 3 finishing as they started, giving the former World Champion yet another National title. A win in A3 ahead of Mugen Seiki’s TITC open Brushless Champion Sören Sparbier would give Lauter the runner-up spot with Greiner taking the final podium step on tie break with Krapp. In Stock, Xray’s Jan Ratheisky took the TQ and win ahead of Awesomatix’s Lukas Ellerbrock with the ARC of Enrico Jung completing the Top 3.

Powerstar L-style | V-style 1:8 Onroad Manifolds

Powerstar has released two new Conical Manifold for 1:8 Onroad offering a L-style and V-style option. Available in Ceramic Black, Silver plated and Rainbow plated, the L-style manifold is for 1:8 Pan car while the V-style manifold is for 1:8 GT use. Both headers are designed to pair seamlessly with the PSR 2201 pipe. The manifold’s conical design is ideal for maximising power and engine responsiveness.

Lutz crowned RC Bike World Champion

Germany’s Marc Lutz is the new RC Bike World Champion, the two time Vice Champion finally taking the top step on the 1:5 Superbike podium at the 19th running of the championships which took place in Brisbane, Australia. Hosted by Queensland Radio Circuit Car Racing Association at England Park Raceway, this being the first time the World Championships was held outside of Europe, qualifying would see Lutz secure the TQ honours for Italian manufacturer RG Evolution ahead of Melbourne’s David Varricchio as he topped 4 of the 5 rounds. With his Jabber Two prototype, Andy Bishop completed the Top 3 on the grid ahead of former IFMAR 1:8 Onroad World Champion Kenji Osaka from Japan. In the triple finals, Lutz would win A1 and A2, coming under late pressure in the second encounter from Varricchio, to secure the title while a win in a rain delayed A3 promoted Osaka to Vice Champion. A 2nd in A1 and 3rd in A3 secured Bishop the final step on the podium ahead of Varricchio, the owner of the World Championship title sponsor Holeshot Hobbies. In Stock Bike, it was Singapore’s EZ Apandi Ismail who secured the TQ but from 2nd on the grid it was Italian Massimiliano Ciccacci who became the new World Champion after a battle with defending Stock Bike Champion Bernhard Renner from Austria. While Ciccacci won A1, third place qualifier Renner took A2 meaning it all came down to A3. Ciccacci’s Jabber delivered win ahead of Singapores’s Andrew Ting, the final podium order being Ciccacci, Renner and Ting, the latter two using RG Evolution bikes. The next RC Bike World Championships will be hosted by the A.S.D Model Drivers Arezzo track in Rome, Italy, in 2027.

Ielasi Tuned ‘Gran Turismo’ 1:8 GT Engine

With the IFMAR 1:8 GT World Championship coming up in Chile next month, reigning World Champion engine tuner Ielasi Tuned has released details of their latest .21 GT engine, the Gran Turismo. The new engine, compared to the 2023 World Championship winning engine used by Toni Gruber, does not change much externally but internally sees a number of developments. The 2025 piston is derived from the Pista engine and the new crankshaft are the technical innovations of this Gran Turismo engine. These changes result in greater reliability and more power are the characteristics of the 2025 Gran Turismo engine.
